Very honest response in saying that he sees himself as having failed in his managerial career so far.
I think the way he has turned around our season from 11th at best to having a realistic chance of top six is testament to how good a manager he can be.
Might be a bit biased, as I fucking love the guy.
No snow here in Malta for anyone that cares
Suprised we've fielded as strong a team as we have. Think we'll be 3 up by half time to be honest!
Edit - thanks brazilain!
I think we'll see Laing, Robinson, Faddy & maybe Cadden start. Regardless, I feel much more confident of McGhee's fringe players performing than Barraclough's, so I think we'll still win easily.
4-0 to us!
It was the same story with one of McCall's last games in charge, also against St Johnstone. We should've equalised and 1 minute later we were 2-0 down (I think). Glad that went our way tonight.
Also special mention to the St Johnstone keeper for dancing about at Pearson's goal. I mean how does he not save that?!
Had we gone on to lose I'd be absolutely fizzing at Ainsworth for trying to chip the keeper at 0-0 at Parkhead. Him and Marv looked to be very dangerous, great ball in from Marv for Moult's goal. Also great pressing by Lasley to nick the ball for the penalty.
Hope we can go on and get 3 points next week!
Was gonna wait til after we got humped today to invest in us finishing top 6, might not be worth it after today!
A long way to go obviously, but I reckon we'll coast through the season with McGhee in charge.
