The last few months have been the worst at Fir Park in a good few years. From the uncertainty of the future of the club to being managerless, and now we have a definitive answer in terms of our future and a manager with a decent (albeit short) track record and potentially great connections down south. Would urge anybody who hasn't yet to watch the Futbal Mondial clip about him, he comes across as really enthusiastic and a very nice guy. We're certainly not out of the woods yet, the next few weeks will be crucial, but great to finally have a bit of excitement and optimism after the past few weeks

Erwin and in particular Ferguson showed today that the lads in the youth team are no worse than certain first team players. They both looked fearless. Twardzik was superb as ever, some keeper for an alleged "midget". Special mention to Ramsden's tackle, totally uneccessary and and on second viewing pretty disgraceful. Confident of at least 4 pts over the next 2 games.

Say what you want about Josh Law but I thought he helped us out defensively a lot today. You perhaps wouldn't have got that from Ainsworth.

I may be in the minority but I wouldn't be too unhappy about KB getting the job, I like what I've seen from him so far. Terry Butcher is a big no for me, at least with Kenny Sheils there's method to the madness. Would be pleased with Mowbray and would also take Jimmy Calderwood who did a great job at Aberdeen.

I don't think anyone wants us to be starting our U19s week in week out, just the introduction of one or two who have promise to shake things up a bit would be nice. Sadly, I think the case is that the youngsters maybe aren't good enough to make a difference.
