Like who? I don't believe that for a second if I'm honest. Edit - apart from maybe the Jim Gannon thing, because the players (rightly) despised him.

Agree w this, particularly the bolded part; some of the tackles we were putting in were mad. The Ramsden one in particular was like something out of Mortal Kombat

great stuff

We could always get Craigen out of retirement to fill in at left back

Here's a link for those that want to have a look at the odds... http://www.mcbookie.com/sports/en/football-specials/manager-specials/coupons/982100/126456098/546060200/0/0/PE/0/0/0/0/0 Maurice Malpas at 33/1 is defo worth a punt...

Genuine question, if it was a Partick Thistle legends' match, would you be as bothered by it?

Agree with your first paragraph a lot, but can't agree with the second part; I don't think the fans should have any say in who the next manager is (I remember the way which the McCall appointment was met and look how that turned out). Some of the suggestions on here have been a bit mental, from Tommy McLean to a dreamteam of Chris McCart, Stephen Craigan and Wille Pettigrew. Also want to add that that's a fantastic email from McCall, he's shown how much he cared for the job, and I'm really sad to see him go. skip to 1.55

Was on a football team night out last night, a lot of the boys of which are County fans. They were apparently saying it was common knowledge that Adams had battered Iain Vigurs at least once! Thought I'd share that.

It's funny how something so small can completely change a course of events. 17 seconds before their equaliser we were humping them, and had Ainsworth scored we would've won the came with ease (can't say for certain obviously but I reckon so). Instead we're all here bemoaning another defeat and calling for the gaffer's head. Ojamaa was great, Ainsworth was good but faded out and contrary to what people think I thought Vigurs was very good too. Ramsden had an absolute mare, his cross ball to Hammell that went out the park said it all. As for McCall, I love the guy, and before tonight I was willing to give him time, but then he started ZFA & Sutton after they were both utterly useless last week. If he does the same again next week then I too will be calling for his head. You can sort of understand why he has persisted with Sutton, as the big man has a good goalscoring record, but he hasn't even looked close to scoring lately, he's got to be dropped! Next week I'd love to see... Twardzik Kerr McManus O'Brien Hammell Ainsworth Carswell Vigurs Thomas Erwin Ojamaa Unfortunately it'll be the same as tonight and we'll have to watch ZFA be the fastest player on the pitch but unable to beat a man and Fraser Kerr (who I feel sorry for as he doesn't asked to be played wide right) slice crosses out the park while Sutton falls on his arse and our skipper fails to show any sign of leadership or organisation.

Quite looking forward to the game tonight, we've got our off the park problems tonight, hopefully the players put in a performance for the fans on the park! I fully expect my excitement to be deflated in an hour though when I see an unchanged team...

Really don't understand the calls to drop Twardzik. Gunnar Neilsen is an absolute bombscare!! Hope we go 4-4-2, back to basics. Twardzik Reid Ramsden O'Brien Hammell Ainsworth Lasley Leitch Vigurs Ojamaa Erwin 2-1 to us, Ojamaa with a late winner. Faddy to score for them.
-
Lee Erwin did more in 2 minutes than Sutton did all game, McCall HAS to drop Sutton next week. Wish he'd just say fuck it and start guys like Cadden & Thomas. Also Fraser Kerr at RWB for 86 minutes while Ainsworth sat on the bench was just shite. Time running out for McCall I'm afraid.

First time I'll have seen us all season, quite looking forward to it. Hope we're not brutal!
-
I reckon we'll smash them 5-0, we'll be dead optimistic on here, only to return to being pumped week in week out the following game.
-
Can we afford to sack him though?
-
Net worth on wee Higgy to score. 1-1 I reckon.
-
Absolutely no need for that.
-
Bob McHugh gives me hope that I can still make it in the professional game. On the other hand it does look a really attacking line up, what the fans have been crying out for. Just hope it isn't a 4-5-1!
-
4-2 to us after going 2-0 down inside 20 minutes.
-
That is true, but on the other hand having a group with the likes of Inter, Spurs, Feyenoord etc would not only give us some memorable away ties but would set us up for years. I know I'm probably in the minority with my opinion here!
-
I'd much rather make the Europa League group stages than win the Scottish Cup.
-
Would start Sutton on the bench myself, he was gubbed after 60 minutes today, and Erwin is an able replacement IMO.
-
8-7 to us on pens, Twardzik with the winner.

Great point, great tactics. We took the lead and apart from one or two chances towards the end, they didn't get behind us once. We were undone by a poor refereeing decision, disappointing as we were really solid defensively. Well done McCall and the team.
