  1. If we somehow scraped three points here we'd only be 8 points behind Celtic
  2. Huge three points, not quite the pumping we thought it'd be, but three points regardless! Here's hoping Caley & Dundee Utd draw tomorrow. Well done Motherwell.
  3. Can't believe MJCs efforts in this thread have got a bite...
  4. Faddy & Anier up top will run riot, 4-0 to us, 2 goals each for those two.
  5. Think I wasn't alone in rating Clancy quite highly during his time here, would be a good replacement for Hutchy, can't see it though.

Not to detract from the debate but I have to say this has to be the absolute worst post I've ever seen on this site. Bravo sir!
  7. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaun_Fagan Playing for St Rochs in the juniors. He apparently managed Stirling in their 1-0 defeat over Sevco last year!
  8. If we beat Caley and Dundee Utd drop points vs Hibs we will be a whopping 10 (TEN!!!) points ahead of them both. Could be a big weekend...
  9. With John Hughes at the helm I'm predicting 5-1 to us. Faddy in for Anier. Faddy with a hat-trick, Vigurs & Ainsworth.
  10. Sign him up! The way he runs at defenders and gets a shot away is just what we need. 4 goals in 4 games from right wing! How many did Humphrey score for us over the 2/3 seasons he was here? If we can get Ainsworth on a permanent deal I say we do it...
  11. Fairly certain we'll see Faddy benched today.
  12. Just thinking that Milo, and with a big game against Caley a few days later he might well start on the bench tomorrow.
  13. Not sure about the line-up for this one. If Hutchy's fit then I suppose he has to come back in, with Ramsden at RB and Carsy back into midfield. Who drops out though? ZFA or Vigurs would be my guess. One of those two out left, Las & Carsy in midfield and Ainsworth out right? A bit of a headache for McCall, really hope he keeps Faddy up front. As for the scoreline, it's gonna be a tough game and I'd prrrrrobably take a point if offered. BUT we're on a good run, so I'm gonna say 3-2 to us, with Faddy, Anier & Ainsworth.
  14. Brilliant work ethic from McFadden for the 4th goal as well, tracking back and winning the ball...
  15. How did the ex Well lads do today? Forbes, Higginbotham & Lawless?
  16. Big chance for Faddy today, come on big man!
  17. I think in true Motherwell fashion we'll win the hard one and struggle to beat the easier team. BUT having said that we've not conceded a goal in 3 games, so I'm not sure. Gonna go 1-1 with Lasley getting ours.
  18. 4-3 to us, Anierx2, Sutton and a 96th minute Faddy winner
  19. Isn't the 'end of contract' thing a moot point, as they'll be getting paid the exact same regardless of whether they extend their loans or not...?
  20. Potential European qualification, better prize money and better gate receipts to name a few. I'd rather be playing the best 5 teams in the league than the likes of Kilmarnock & St Mirren again. It's fairly obvious that from a £££ point of view being in the top six is more rewarding. From an 'excitement' point of view it's obviously not edge-of-your-seat stuff, but if we're 8th in the league with 7 games to play it gives us something to aim for rather than seeing out the season...
  21. Agree with Frazzie about the split. Gives us a wee bit of excitement and something to aim for.
