I can't see us getting anything from this one. On paper we have a top class attacking side, but defensively we've been poor so far. A high scoring affair, 3-2 to Kilmarnock is my prediction.

The Aberdeen game was my 2nd ever Motherwell match!! They scored a free kick, then we scored, and went in front with a penalty, then they equalised right at the death. Would that be right?

Did the Kaiser not score an equaliser against Dunfermline a few years ago? I remember us being 2-0 down, and a last minute strike from the big man gave us the draw?

Yes they can. They just have to not jump into the crowd when celebrating! I have no idea how you can say that it seems like players aren't allowed to celebrate their goals.

I was gonna say, normally we get a thread after a bad referee performance saying that so and so is a c**t. When you don't see any comments on the ref it means he's done a good job!

I think it's more to do with player/fan safety than whether fans take offence to celebrations.

I sympathise with the refs in situations like that. The ref probably didn't want to book him, but the rules are put in place by FIFA or whoever (and I can kinda agree that players shouldn't really be jumping into the crowd) and the ref has to abide by them.

Fuckin hell, those highlights make it look like it was some game! What a goal from Forbes, almost outdone by O'Brien at the end!

I'm just in the door, and I never got a chance to listen to the game today. I can't be arsed reading through a 22 page thread, so would some kind soul post a breakdown of how we did please? The goals we scored & conceded, what were they like? How did we line up, wat subbies did we use, and how did we play? A tad lazy, but it'll only take a few minutes for somebody to reply Cheers.

Yeah I agree with that. I'm not agreeing with what he said by any means, and I think that Gav coulda maybe done without posting it, just don't like the mini-uproar that somebody doesn't like Paul Slane as a person.

Och lighten up. Just because somebody has had a different experience whilst interacting with him doesn't make that poster a bad person all of a sudden. The original poster also said he was a good player, so that's the support side of things taken care of. We don't have to like the players that play, so if Gav reckons he's bigheaded, that's okay you know.
