After watching the highlights, I'm just gonna go right out there and say it; IMO Hutchison is at fault for the 2nd goal by watching the ball and not the man running past him to stick it in the back of the net, and fuck knows what he was up to for the 3rd goal. Ball watching again, and his man just takes a wee step back and has an unchallenged header to make it 3-0. If Gannon had started Hammell at LB and Reynolds at centre half, I genuinely don't think we would've lost those goals. It might sound like I'm being overly critical, but that's just the way I see it.

A bit harsh on Craigan I feel, he instinctively stuck a leg out. It was unfortunate for him it flew into the back of the net.

I'd go along with that SD. A 4-2-3-1 when we have the ball and a 4-5-1 when we don't. It's gonna be a heour of a shift for Sutton up front on his own, and if we do revert to the long ball, the 3 boys have got to get up and get on the end of his flick ons as much as possible. Slane and Murphy can certainly finish a ball, they've shown that over the course of the last couple of games, and with Sutton's aerial power and Forbes' left foot, there is certainly a lot of potential for an away goal. Said it before, and I'll say it again, the main thing is that we're still in the tie come the 6th of August.

I'm on Weeyin's side here, and I agree, if we are crying out for a tall defender to win headers at cross balls etc, then it's promising that we've got a 6"4 defender on trial. Edit - oops, didn't realise that this was from yesterday and most people had probably forgotten about it.
