I think Neil's getting at the fact he writes the stories for somebody else, and national newspapers (like the Sun for example) come in and stick em in their papers. Even the bit you've quoted says 'previous publications', which implies to me that, although the Sun has published something Scott has written, he doesn't actually work for them.

Aye he does. Watch him closely next time we play. His link up play is excellent, he very rarely gives the ball away, and brings the wide men into play very well. He is also constantly moving, and brings out the best in Sutton's movement; against Llanelli he was constantly telling Sutton to switch with him, and this brought Sutton into the game a lot more than it did in the first leg. He does a power of unnoticed work and is a very intelligent player. There's a reason top managers like McGhee and Gannon play him.
