I can’t agree with that. I don’t have them to hand but Shields’ assist and goal stats are very poor. He’s just not good enough for our level. If we can keep Aarons fit and get some actual service into the middle then KVV will thrive off of it.

If this guy establishes himself at left back then I wonder who takes the right back slot. Both O’Donnell and McGinn have had great starts to the season.

I thought Lundstram’s was a red. That type of foul that stops a breakaway is of course usually a yellow, but when he is miles away from the ball, has absolutely no intention of playing for the ball, and it’s knee height, that’s a red for me. I haven’t seen the Celtic game today but I’ve read online that none of the Celtic fouls merited a booking. I really don’t think refs are biased, just extremely incompetent. VAR will for sure help with that in this country.

Would like to see Efford kept on, there’s a player in there somewhere. This attacking football we are playing all of a sudden will suit him. Not necessarily as a starter, but to come off the bench and run at tiring full backs for the last 30 minutes.

I disagree, a club of our size should be aspiring to finish in the top six. We should be competing with Dundee Utd, Aberdeen and Hibs for a European spot this season, and it saddens me to think our ambitions are “anything above relegation is a bonus”, should that be what the club’s goals are. The second half vs St Johnstone and the Aberdeen game show we CAN play, we are a good team with some good footballers. Let’s set some lofty but achievable targets, we are more than capable.
