A real shame for Carroll personally, poor guy has had horrendous luck with injuries. I was critical of O’Donnell last season but I thought he did very well at LB last Saturday. I wouldn’t be averse to him playing there this season and us using Johnson/another young full back as cover. Or we could just sign a left back, either way.

I saw parts of Dundee Utd last week and thought they looked really good, their goal was sublime. I thought they would go on to have a really decent season but after getting beat by Livi and skelped tonight maybe not.

He wasn’t my first choice but I’ll get right behind him like everyone else. The man has dedicated most of his adult life to this club. I hope this is a success story, because he deserves it.

He’s had a whole week now and if we line up the same shape/personnel as last week it’ll be slightly underwhelming. How long is Lamie suspended for?
