  1. Around the 8.25 mark, what a goal.
  2. If I recall correctly he was offered a deal, told the club he wasn't signing it, COVID happened, and he signed the deal and returned it to the club. When the club laughed in his face and told him to bolt he ran to the media to say that we had reneged on the deal!
  3. Really quite poor from Slattery & Lamie for their half-arsed attempts to stop the cross for the first, and a total flap from Kelly for the second. Great finish from Deano, fantastic wee player. Disappointing not to see the Slattery effort and the keeper save, is there a clip of that anywhere?

    Alexander.

Chunky minimum fee release clause thingy? Hope he stays tbh.
  5. Woolery had been hit and miss all season, but looked like he was finally coming into some really good form when he got dropped. Shields deserves to retain his place, but if I were GA I'd be fitting Woolery in there somewhere.
  6. No sarcasm at all, I thought he was much improved today and offered a threat going forward. I would much rather have SOD at LB than McGinley or Carroll.
  7. A huge weekend coming up, which will see us either fighting it out for Europe and gaining a ton of additional revenue, or the season turning into a damp squib and a scrap for 7th. As it stands... 4) Dundee Utd - 40 pts - -6 GD 5) Motherwell - 39 pts - -12 GD 6) Hibernian - 38 pts - -4 GD 7) Ross County - 37 pts - -8 GD 8 ) Livingston - 37 pts - -8 GD 9) - Aberdeen - 36 pts - -3 GD The fixtures... Aberdeen vs Ross County Dundee Utd vs Dundee Hearts vs Hibs Livingston vs Motherwell I've omitted the OF games because the reality is St Mirren aren't going to beat Rangers, they were mince today. Lots of different scenarios where we can lose or draw and still make the top six, but the reality is if we win the game then fuck all else matters. So let's just do that. Typing all that out, both the St Johnstone win and the late Dundee equaliser today were absolutely huge for us.
  8. The only disappointment from today is the home fans didn't boo him relentlessly at every touch, fucking snake.
  9. KVV is class when he wants to be, absolute joy to watch.
  10. Johansen's distribution today has been atrocious.
  11. Results very much going our way. As monumentally shite as we've been this calendar year, if we can see this out top six looks to be very much a possibility.
  12. What a save from the St Mirren keeper from Slattery's effort. Stephen O'Donnell has been fantastic at LB today.
  13. They could also be 12 behind us with a trip to Parkhead up next. I guess we'll just wait and see, but I'm very confident we won't be anywhere near the bottom two.
  14. Chat of relegation is ridiculous. We are poor right now but are absolutely nowhere near a “relegation dogfight”.
  15. I think Gordon's age has a bit to do with it as well, he's probably wanting to play as many minutes as he can in a Scotland shirt while he still can. From a Scotland POV Gordon is a great keeper, but from a Motherwell POV it's a bit disappointing Kelly never got that elusive first cap when he was the 2nd keeper in the squad.
  16. Kelly on the bench again, really quite disappointed at that tbh.
  17. SOD got absolutely clattered within a minute of coming on. Hopefully Kelly gets his chance next week.
  18. Take a moment, engage your brain, how would a random website have any idea the exact amount we are paying each individual player? Darragh O'Connor being on 2.4k a week tells you that they are indeed talking mince.
  19. Marshall pulls out the squad, meaning that Kelly will almost certainly get his first cap. Thoroughly deserved!

    Alexander.

I don't think there is any chance whatsoever we'll be relegated, but I also think it is 100% time for Alexander to go. The football is dreadful to watch, the exclusion of Slattery and Woolery of late is inexplicable, and our form has been hideous. I bought into his winning mentality and the positive things he was doing, but the fact of the matter is we should be out of sight in 4th place right now and instead we are going to try and scrape into the top six. Time to go.
  21. Very true, maybe getting cups full of coke launched at his face affects him a wee bit.
  22. I understand why you might think that, but some of O'Donnell's worst moments lately have been down to things like horrendous technical mistakes or poor positioning. Was it the St Mirren game where he had about 4 first touches that were genuinely the level of the amateurs? He was honking that night and it was nothing to do with how the manager utilised him.
  23. SOD and Liam Kelly make the squad for the upcoming friendly vs Poland. O'Donnell's form has been up and down this season, playing very well at Ibrox and 2nd half vs Hibs, and Clarke rates him highly so not surprised he's there. Some interesting comments from Clarke re his direct competition... "Nathan Patterson got a fantastic move to Everton that hasn't quite worked out for him. It would have been difficult to pick Nathan for a competitive game being honest but going into a friendly situation it might be a chance for us to get minutes into Nathan's legs. ...and some indirect competition for him in the form of Aaron Hickey who is by trade a LB but can play RB too. Pleasing for them both.
  24. FWIW, as much as I think it shouldn't have been a red card, there's no chance VAR would have overruled it. We do still very much need VAR in this country though.
