  1. Efford started well but looked knackered soon after. While there may be potential there he needs to get up to the pace of Scottish Football.
  2. Someone made a post earlier today questioning the effort of the players, and I disagreed at first. Forcing myself to watch the highlights and it's absolutely correct, the gentle jog back from some players when Celtic cut us open is pathetic. Carroll, KVV, Donnelly and Woolery were all shockingly bad today. Woolery must have touched the ball about 4 times the whole 2nd half. Skip to the 3 minute mark. I appreciate the game is gone and as a player you're probably very frustrated, but my god that group trot back in while Celtic try and tee Rogic up for a hat trick is infuriating to watch.
  3. You surely don't actually believe that?
  4. Went for Deano, his direct searching pass in the first half into the feet of KVV out of nowhere was a very encouraging sign. Efford started well but is miles off the pace, and Tierney looked a little more like he believes he belongs here this week. A few gurns at the ref which is good to see.
  5. Nirrenold on, what’s going on with Ojala?
  6. Efford doing more in the first 5 minutes than KVV has done in about 3 games.
  7. 3 changes at HT. Looks a return to 4-3-3.
  8. I don’t get this. What makes you think the players aren’t trying? It’s a bit of a damning accusation to make and one that seems to be cast about by football fans out of anger when getting scudded.
  9. Celtic are very good and all that but the goals we have given them have been disgraceful. The time that Rogic had to float into our box and pick his spot for the third is absolutely fucking shambolic. As for Jake Carroll for the first? Jeezo. Donnelly is pish and offers nothing. Alexander needs to see that and get him out the team.
  10. Cornelius has been really good so far. The rest, especially Alexander, are having a shocker.
  11. Going to be a long afternoon if the first 2 minutes are anything to go by.
  12. That’s a fair point. If we want to hold on to 4th it’s about time we sorted ourselves out as well. Let’s do that today Motherwell.
  13. I just can't agree with that, we dominated them at their patch the other night. We didn't win the game, but if we find our shooting boots they won't get near us.
  14. I appreciate that there's a small gap between us and the likes of Livingston but St Mirren etc won't be good enough catch us. It'll be between us, Hibs, Dundee Utd and Aberdeen for 4th/5th/6th.
  15. What a fantastic set of results for us so far today, would be great if they all finished like this. I see Hibs as our main threat for 4th, long may they keep losing.
  16. I'd like to see us stick with 3-5-2 for this one but with the two being an actual fucking two instead of Goss/Tierney/Slattery floating in behind KVV. Wouldn't mind seeing Mugabi out RWB but I doubt it'll happen. -------------------Kelly ------Mugabi----Johansen----Carroll/Ojala O'Donnell---------------------------------McGinley ---------Slattery-----Shaw-----Goss ----------------KVV---Roberts/Efford Press them from the start and pray for the best. 2-1, a late late KVV winner.
  17. It was O'Donnell's man that scored. You can see a tiny bit of handbags from them just on the left of the screen as the corner comes in. Gogic peels off him while O'Donnell is slow to react. Donnelly was marking Richard Tait and threw him to the ground.
  18. I agree with that, McGinley was very good again. I just wish him and O'Donnell could put a bit of pace and bend and dip into a cross instead of a floaty mcfloater right onto the head of Charles Dunne or the hands of Alnwick.
  19. Griffiths has been released by Celtic and is a free agent. Wouldn’t be surprised to see us give him a deal til June.
  20. Carroll for me, we defended well overall bar the goal.
  21. We were the better team tonight but that still doesn't mean we were very good. I'm not really sure what our best shape/formation is and to be honest I don't think GA knows either. We need 3 in midfield, but KVV badly needs somebody up top next to him. The only way we can accommodate both of those is to go 3-5-2, which I think would suit us. The problem is that GA has signed Woolery, Roberts & the new boy Efford, none of which seem to fit into a 3-5-2. Sunday's line-up could be a real interesting one.
  22. Mugabi offering more up top in 5 minutes than KVV, Tierney & Woolery have all game.
  23. Woolery on for Slattery, and not Donnelly. I despair.
