Moult is a Championship level striker who is nearing full fitness again (remember he made the bench for Preston a couple of times), the "other options" will absolutely be top six sides and there's no chance he'll end up at a Dundee, Ross County or St Johnstone. It would be extremely painful to see Louis Moult score against us.

Would be very happy to sign Lafferty. Watt and Sheilds would set him up all day every day.

And all he has done is float long balls to the Luxembourg defence so far. No chance he gets any game time over the 3 group games unless absolutely necessary.

As others have said when he burst onto the scene he was unplayable. Would be great if we could get him like that again.

Think I'm in the minority but wouldn't mind seeing Hastie back on a permanent deal. He's got the physical attributes and Alexander seems like the kind of guy who could coach him to use that again. He was at his best when he was running into space or at people with the ball at his feet.

The club's recent social media video of being at home with the O'Donnell's was fantastic. I gave him a hard time when he gave a rather passive "it's not the end of the world if we lose this game" interview around 2 months ago (or something to that effect) but he seems like a great guy. A worthy captain next season.
