The goal kicks thing I don't mind, I would much rather see us play out from the back rather than smash the ball up to Devante Cole and expect miracles. The problem is our shitebag midfield waiting until we are 3-0 down before wanting the ball.

'Next to no chance' a bit too strong in my choice of words but it's still fairly unlikely. We are 4 points ahead of Killie with a game in hand, and their form guide is LLLLL. Essentially as shite as we've been it's just not that likely that all 3 teams below us make up a 4 or 5 point gap between now and the end of the season. One or two maybe but not all three. Factor in Accies & County have pretty tough run-ins and we will have O'Donnell, Campbell, O'Hara & Gallagher back before the split, I think we'll have enough about us to avoid 12th. We're absolutely minging, but we'll stay up imo.

For the first time all season I'm concerned we might actually go down. There's next to no chance we will finish 12th but 11th is possible (albeit in my opinion unlikely). We need to scrape as many points as possible from games like this. A draw would be a great result.

Nah it's not. He had a decent season or two and then got dropped for Turnbull and has since then clearly not given a fuck. It was the exact same on the rare occasion he got to play when Turnbull was keeping him out the team. Sent off a few weeks ago and stood around laughing and then gives a penalty away today needlessly. He just doesn't care.

Said it before and I'll say it again, Liam Polworth is an utter fucking dick. Got dropped for David Tunrbull two years ago and still can't get over it. He couldn't give any less of a fuck if he tried.

Cole wins the header and Watt and Long are just standing there with their thumbs up their arses. If we are to insist upon launching balls to Cole's head can we at least fucking run off of him instead of standing and watching.

We are fucking garbage, no doubt about it. I don't think we'll get relegated (or finish anywhere near it), but this is god awful. We have three shitebags in midfield who just don't want the ball in tight spaces. We have shoehorned two centre forwards into attacking midfielders on each side and we wonder why we don't create many chances. We have four defenders who launch the ball forward to Devante Cole's head with nobody within 20 yards of him. We are fucking shite.

Utter garbage. Give the ball away 4 times in the space of 10 seconds. Carroll costing us yet another goal.

I thought it was Alba, either way it's annoying. Magliore's distribution is awful but defensively looks solid. I'm really not a fan of Watt and Long coming so deep. Get the front 3 right up the park and pin them back to make space for our midfield.

Struggling a wee bit so far but St Johnstone don't look up to much either.

Not too related to the game today, but I rarely get the chance to listen to Off The Ball but whenever I can tune in it's thoroughly entertaining. Tam Cowan is excellent. BBC's coverage of Scottish Football is far far better than the Neil McCanns and the Andy fucking Walkers of Sky Sports.

The following bodes well for us. Given their tricky run ins, I reckon 2 wins from the next 5 will see us safe (providing we don't implode after the split)... "On paper, there is no doubt Hamilton have the trickiest run-in, as they face tough trips to Hibernian, Aberdeen and Livingston over their next five games. Bottom-club Ross County's fixtures also do not look too favourable, as the Highlanders have games against Celtic and Hibernian amongst their next five Premiership matches."

St Mirren and Hamilton ending in a draw is decent for us, keeps relegation at bay and keeps our very slim top six chances alive. If we are to have any chance of top six, we need 3 pts on Saturday.

I was full of hope before Saturday but given the spanking we received I think we'll draw with St Johnstone, lose to St Mirren and Hibs, draw with Livi and draw with Killie. Three points in the next five games, needing us to find a couple of wins after the split to steer clear of the danger and then give the new manager some time to clear out some of the absolute dross that's in our squad. Long, Hastie, Chapman, Lamie, McGinley, Seedorf, Polworth, all the loanees etc etc etc can all go.
