Good stuff. With our lofty league position and top 6 pretty much secured hopefully we go about contract extensions early this season.
-
Did he sit with the rest of the squad on the plane or was he kinda near them but with his bird and wearing civvies?
-
We would need to sign a handsome bastard as a replacement. Over the years we've always had one. Simon Ramsden, John Sutton, John Sutton again. If Sloth goes I just don't see anyone in our current squad able to fill that role.
-
Would cash in if the offer was decent.
-
I'm not so sure that's true with regards to rotation; the front 3 have been rotated a fair bit and Mugabi/Hartley and Tait/Grimshaw have a bit. I've mentioned it a few times but I'm still baffled he didn't get sent out once for a wee jog on Boxing Day. It was as if there was no chance he would get on. I had a wee look on his Instagram a month or two back and he's replying to fans asking why he's not playing saying he doesn't know and that he's fit and ready. Something clearly not right but I imagine he's on a few bucks so hopefully get him out the door asap, best for all involved.

The MFC Facebook page popped up with a team of the decade survey today, something for us to discuss during the winter break... https://www.surveymonkey.com/survey-taken/?sm=S8HrU6d71Cq8L5LNi9OjSTHo2_2FOiqWo6HrvD1IEaSCx68PQ5K6haZIpVVDvXAltEr63cdMFmS9SdpDMHxYHykSCje_2FVcRXD4LYWcvMhfsE0_3D I didn't spend long on it but I went with... Randolph Tait Hutchison Reynolds Hammell Humphrey Law Pearson Murphy Moult Higdon Probably forgotten a few gems, and not ideal having Murphy on the left wing but would go with that front two every time! Edit - would be fairly interested in seeing some starting XIs for our worst team of the decade!

Truly shafted, and Cadden surely knew that. Fuck him.
-
Yeah you're right. Either way, Robbo clearly doesn't like him.
-
Think this is pretty accurate tbh. I like Robbo and he's done a great job with us, but imo he has a nasty streak about him. I think I'm right in saying Sloth didn't even come out to warm up during the game.
-
We badly missed Donnelly today.
-
Raging.
-
Fucking hell.
-
Such a frustrating first half, we should've kicked on and got a second. I'm back to the "James Scott is wildly overrated" stance.
-
Gonna abbbbbbbbbbsolutely scud them today! Get in!
-
Think we're gonna absolutely scud them today.
-
I don't think we'll see him in the squad before the end of February, he's got a long journey ahead to rebuild his fitness.
-
Our fixtures for a few weeks after the winter break are a lot tougher than they have been recently, could do with a win here. 4-1 to us.

Really enjoyed the game yesterday, County were fairly neat with the ball but they weren't up to much at all going forward. Just after they went down to 10 men they broke forward and one of their players inexplicably went for goal instead of playing in their striker for what would've surely been 2-0. I would've been absolutely raging if one of our boys had done that, it ultimately cost them the game. Gallagher - quiet day saves wise, he was decent with the ball at his feet. Tait - shaky start, very surprised at the abuse he was given from the stands at times. He settled in well and I thought had a good game. Not sure on who the right back slot should go to tbh. Gallagher - absolute MotM. Wouldn't mind seeing him play in the holding role, he's very good with the ball at his feet. Hartley - distribution not great in the first half, but defensively solid. Carroll - not his best day but offered a lot going forward during the onslaught Campbell - pretty good game, worked very hard. Not sure if it was his runner for the goal or not. Polworth - quiet day but played some excellent passes. Need more from him overall. O'Hara - didn't think he was as great as he was made out to be last week but this week I thought he had a really good game. We need someone to link the play from the back and he was constantly looking to do that. Would be happy to see him come here full time. Hylton - he is so tricky and has a real moment of quality but drops out the game for long spells. I reckon one day we will see him turn it on for a full 90 mins and absolutely ruin some team. Here's hoping it's Sunday. Scott - a tough day and he should've scored. He did some really good stuff with his back to goal but his finishing must improve. Seedorf - much better 45, I really felt for him in the first half at times. The guy is lightning, we need to find a way to utilise that. Maciver - when I saw him warming up I thought he'd won a raffle from the U15s or something, he looked so young. First thing he did when he came on was win a header vs one of the County brutes, and what a fuckin goal! Special mention to the away fans, and what scenes at the end. Also - I thought I read that Sloth on the bench but I didn't see him come out to warm up?
-
Thoroughly deserved. Never a corner for the winner. Finally we get a decision of importance going our way.
-
Seedorf tearing them a new one now!
-
I feel for Seedorf, his teammates and the entire away stand are going skitzo at him but on the other hand it's thoroughly deserved. He's created nothing, he's left Tait exposed and he's blowing out his arse. We've been average today but we are still far far better than County. 3 good chances spurned. Scott's been busy today but twice he is lacked quality when it really mattered; for his one on one and then his pass to Hylton that he overhit. Missing Long upfront imo.
-
Interesting XI. I called for Tait to return but thought Grimmy was good last week. We need Hylton to be on his game today as Scott and Seedorf can blow hot and cold.

Just watched the highlights. Some fantastic stops from Gillespie, and he seems to have slowed down a bit with the ball in his hands instead of smashing it up the park ASAP. I think he deserves to keep his place. Also thought Scott was very good today. When him and Hylton are running at defenders we will score goals for fun. Really bad miss from Polworth at the end. If he can add goals to his game he'll go from being a good midfielder to a great midfielder. Any word on Donnelly?

A fairly enjoyable game of football, we were marginally better with the ball and without it too. I thought Hartley & Gallagher were class, Hartley has surely nailed down his spot at the back again. Half way through the season and we are in third place, 11 clear of 5th. I think we'll comfortably finish in the top six but given the gap we've opened up over Killie anything less than 4th place would be very disappointing.
