Scottish Premiership Game 2: St Johnstone (A) Saturday 12/08/17

Carson should have just came and wiped the forward out in the same way as Gordon done for Celtic on more than one occasion last season. That way not a thing would have been done. No wait a minute we're motherwell. -
Thought jake hastie had a decent 2nd half, though I heard a rumour last night that he may be going out on loan to Airdrie. Wouldn't be a bad thing if true. 1st team experience and back to us next year.
-
Why don't the board donate Louis to the Well society, they sell him and les Hutchison has to match the money raised. Win win all round. Before anyone goes into total meltdown, im only kidding.
-
if the board were to sell moult for 500 thousand right now, by the time we paid Wrexham there percentage and the sum that would be due to go to clear some of the debt, we woukdnt clear 200 thousand for the club. So would it be better to keep him and let him run his contract down and hope he had a rich goal scoring vein of form that would secure our place in the league? Numbers came from a board member.
-
true. Probably to much however I'm sure hull won't be the only interested party before the transfer window closes and motherwell hold all the aces.
-
sadly this is true. But it also prevents the old firm from stealing our best young talent for next to nothing.
-
less than a quarter? I'm guessing you've never heard of development fee protection on transfers. see Lee Irwin.
-
25 percent apparently.
-
If we need to sell its got to be 2 million and massive add-ons to go now. We're entitled to 600,000 atleast if he was to move at the end of his current contract due to development fees anyway. So if they do want him, pay up. Saying all that it is probably a non story given its coming from that rag.

agreed. There ain't really anymore to be said on the subject until such times as an appeal or 3 go in. Then we can all moan like **** again. -
According to SSN Johnson has put in a transfer request at Oxford.

Serious question for any moderator reading. Is there anyway of introducing an ignore option on here? Whilst I fully respect the fact that opinions are only just that and everyone is entitled to one. There's atleast half a dozen or more on this site that there desperation for motherwell to be shite far outweighs there want for them to do well. Would be great if the option was on here to not have to read there posts. The same as there is on p&b. -
that joke's been flogged to death now.

Captured everything we all feel every time we go. Brilliant work. -
Close game. M"Well win on penalties.

Sounds like the same dom that was at fir park. Looked good on the ball without any end product, and that's why every manager he played under here dropped him.
-
how does flow know on the day of his illness he'll be fine a couple of days later? Unless he was ok to play in the first instance. I'm sure they read these sites. They could easily out it to bed before it becomes a circus.
-
thats the model the board has developed. Contrast them to ten years ago. I'll always go and support the colours more than player who wears them these days. It's all about financial survival now. There is no longer lucrative rewards for players to remain with us. We are fans these guys ain't.
-
or other clubs at the time never had the same info rangers did, given the fact that was once on there books. Like I said it all just rumours but the silence is deafening out of fir park at the moment, apart from flow saying he was ill. So all we have to go by is rumours. Although if there was any truth wouldn't the sfa done something at the time when he did play.
-
having done a Google search on bigi illness this now appears to be quite serious. Whilst no confirmation is given anywhere the rumours over the last couple of years seem to suggest its something that would prevent him playing in Scottish football. Strange the player himself has never confirmed what it is and the type of suggestion online is not really appropriate to discuss on here. However if any of it is true there would be nothing to prevent every club from objecting to him playing. All rumours though.
-
Who started this pish about bigi and rangers? The guy was ill end of of story. As for the game today. Thought we played really well at times and had we been on a level playing field with that p***k madden we could have easily taken something from the game. Things look good for the season if the team can keep up that sort of performance.
-
Still believe 2-1 well. However would love to see a performance that sets us up for the rest of the season and gives us belief that we are out to win games. Make other clubs worry about how we are approaching games. COYW.

My rangers supporting neighbour told me they had been given extra allocation in the main stand. Would imagine it's just the same allocation that Celtic take up. As for away fans in the home end. Any well fan found to be buying tickets for them should be banned from the ground instantly.

That's the standard from a the journalists. Not a mention of how much tighter the defence became after Robinson took over or the fact that we actually finished 9th.
