exactly my point. Out with Celtic there ain't a great deal of difference in ability from what was on show last season, except when we set out to defend under Mcgee we generally got pumped. When Robinson came in it was a matter of just surviving. Now we seem to be a much stronger team physically. So let's just go for it and see what happens. Will certainly be much more entertaining.
-
Why should Robinson let rangers dictate how he sets his team up. He should set out the team the way he wants to play and let rangers worry about our formation. After all we are the home team.
-
The well to win 2-1 based on nothing more than being a well fan and wanting us to win. Unlike some on here.

Hopefully it would need to take a ridicules offer to lose gadden right now given the fact that we are guaranteed 600 thousand+ regardless when he goes. We finally have a strong looking central midfield capable of competing in this league, to break that up this close to the start of the league season would be a seriously big setback. So unless it's an offer the club just can't refuse and the gaffer knows exactly who he would bring in as a replacement, selling cadds could be a disaster.

I always thought it was mick because of the Mc at the start of the surname.

Shite game, shite performance. Never mind, 3 games, 3 wins. To many changes, to much like pre season. Best to pretend it never happened. Queue the bed wetters.

I think frear is being told to try a reach the by line before crossing. Don't think he is being encouraged to cut inside and have a go. So if teams do double up on him it may just leave space elsewhere for him to make an easier pass. I like his style of play. Quite sure he'll have a fair number of assists during the season and maybe even a few goals

reads like a compilation of a few posters on here.

Ffs where it being played?

Cheers. Thought they may have put a few of the 20s in the squad. Thankfully looks like it's going to be a strong 1st team selection tomorrow night. Worth a trip through. Must be about 84 the last time we played at meadowbank stadium.
-
did you notice if any players left out with a view to them maybe playing tomorrow night?

So far I think Robinson has done a great job building what looks to be a better squad of players than we have seen for a good few seasons. Don't forget we have one of the smallest budgets in the league, if not the smallest, so the job him and flow do to sell the club to incoming players must be applauded. Don't really think they could do anymore than what there doing. However they are some on here that they will never please.

A number of good performances today. Thought McHugh ran the show. Very composed performance all round.
-
Players playing the game like they were enjoying themselves. Decent performance all round even if there was 1or2 small mistakes. Totally different feel to the team now. Quite optimistic for the season ahead, hope they can keep that going.

There is no doubt that Louis will go when the money is right. That's why he came here, to better himself. That's the plan flow sold him and every other player that comes through the door. Whether we like it or not that's the reason players sign for us. We have to sell that's how we are going to survive as a club. Let's just enjoy Louis while we have him and hope to hell we have a lot more like him in the future. Coyw.

so agree with this. Some fans are so desperate to feel that in some way they're best friends with the players. Follow them by all means but continually messaging them and tagging them in your tweets seems a bit like stalking. Guess it's just the social media generation we live in.
-
McDonald is already being discussed in former players thread and that's where he should remain.
-
agreed. Get this into the former players. Should have been there from the start.

that was a great season, went on a long unbeaten run. However i can still remember the relief when we finally lost, just to get the run out of the road. Think it was accies at douglas park who ended the run? Best season ever.
-
This should be a straight forward win. However anything less than full commitment during the game could see us face a really difficult 90mins. Some posters on here regard this as nothing more than pre season. Having watched Ayr United last night, the lower league teams certainly ain't taking it this way. I know that was an ayrshire derby however i don't see queens park taking this any less serious. So I feel anything less 100 percent could see a bit of an upset and the usual told you so posters on here going into meltdown. Great to have football back. COYW.

It's no longer if Moult leaves. Its now when. So it's up to the club to get the best financial deal possible regardless of who buys him. Sadly Robinson won't see much of it as it will mostly go to clearing off part of our debts and I'm sure there must be a sizeable sell on clause to pay also. So the sooner its done and dusted the better. Players will always come and go and as long as the club can turn a profit then I'm quite happy. This scenario will get played out again with another player this time next year.

Don't look into these friendly results to much. Sure we as well fans hate to see our team lose no matter what meaning the games have, especially you folks who paid good money to travel to these friendlies, and well done to everyone of you who have. However to me the season starts this weekend and if the dross thats been on show over the period of the pre season continues into the group stages of the league cup then I would think then we may indeed have a worry on our hands. No more excuses of how hard they have been training just prior to the games and how fatigued the players where prior to going on the park so fitness levels could be tested. Cup tournaments are something we well fans really look forward to and not getting a decent cup run can have quite serious ramifications on the club's finances come the end of the season. So fingers out guys it all starts on saturday. Its down to you now Mr Robinson. COYW.

looks like louis moult won't be going anywhere soon. Possibly wouldn't pass a medical at any perspective buyer. Best all round if he was to sign the extension offered and see what the future brings.

Just watchef his utube video. If Charles Dunne is happy to have signed for the well he wants to tell his face then. Also, to early in his interview is the mention of how he can't wait to play in front of the big crowds of the ugly sisters. That one is a pet hate of mine. Never mind, as long as he does a job on the park for us then I'm sure I'll get over it. Welcome to fir park dunney.
