Very frustrating 2nd half this afternoon. Too many times we just make things difficult for ourselves by players trying to do something over-complicated rather than playing the simple pass and we end up losing posession particularly in midfield. Plus points were 2 quality goals from the Duke and Sutton, another good showing from Murphy and once again Saunders was solid at the back. My last comment is about the referee - absolutely a joke of a game, so inconsistent. I see both Gannon and Levein have commented on his performance on the BBC website

Ruddy for me. A handful of great saves kept us in the game. Murphy had a great game too, unfortunately a few missed touches cost him possesion on occasion.

2 points thrown away today. We should have had the match won after about 20 minutes. Too many slack passes in midfield and one or two players off their game. Also, why take Forbes off at half time? He was playing pretty well and added to that the fact that O'Brien was posted missing for about 30 minutes of the second half it was a poor substitution. Thought Ruddy had a few great saves and he desrved his MOTM today. Also good performances from Reynolds and Saunders but overall it was a poor performance

2-1 Murphy and the Duke for us and Mulgrew for the dons

Minute's silence was very well observed by both sets of supporters. Poor performance today....felt we should have taken the 3 points today but our midfield came off 2nd best on 2 many occasions. On a more positive note, 1 league defeat in the 1st third of the season is more than most of us could have hoped for at the start of the season.

3 or 4 good contenders for MOTM today but in the end I went for Hutch. Good to see him back

A good result today although I didn't think our performance was that great. I felt we gave away the ball too many times in midfield however we didn't get punished for it as the Hearts midfield was poor. Good performances by Hutch, Coke, Hateley and O'Brien. Also though Forbes' goal was a cracker. Last 10-15 minutes was absolute heart in mouth stuff. Ref was shocking, so many inconsistencies with his decisions.

Good post Yir Elder. Reading through this thread I get the feeling that a few folk have pushed the panic button - this is a definite over-reaction. We are young team is in the process of building, the lads need support and encouragement and, where necessary, constructive criticism. Gannon has admitted he got it wrong last night and fair play to him for doing that.

Great result today. Not a classic game in any sense but great result. Some great saves by Ruddy. Hately, O'Brien and O'Brien were probably the stand out players IMO. Well support was great today, never stopped making a noise.
