As a result, the ballot now opens for Well Society members and Motherwell Football Club shareholders on Monday 8th July. This will be the start of a two-week voting period. You can email questions to Club via shares@motherwellfc.co.uk. Well Society members can also contact the Well Society directly with any queries via members@thewellsociety.uk. Details and more information on how to vote will be shared with MFC shareholders and Well Society members in due course.

Davies has spent the last two years at Oriel Park, having moved from Aldershot Town in the summer of 2022. His performances convinced Scottish Premiership side Motherwell to make a move, but it was quickly turned down by Dundalk. It is believed that the bid included no upfront payment, but instead proposed modest performance-related fees. Right-back Davies is out of contract at the end of the League of Ireland season, so Motherwell have the option of waiting until January and getting him for nothing.
