  6. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48066166 Jake Hastie: Rangers' Steven Gerrard admits 'an interest' in Motherwell winger 6 minutes ago From the sectionMotherwell Sharethis page Jake Hastie (left) has impressed this season, including against Rangers Steven Gerrard has confirmed that Rangers are attempting to sign Motherwell winger Jake Hastie. The 20-year-old will be a free agent this summer and a report this week claimed he has agreed a pre-contract to sign a four-year deal with Rangers. Motherwell would be due a development fee for the player. "It's no secret that there's an interest there," manager Gerrard said. "But, until we get it complete, there's nothing really to say." McInnes denies Gerrard's Aberdeen claim Motherwell had offered Hastie, who has scored 11 goals in 41 appearances during his first full season, a contract extension. But manager Stephen Robinson believes he has already agreed to join another club. "Jake won't be signing for me," Robinson said. "I believe he has signed for another club, but it's not for me to announce that - I will leave that to other people." The Motherwell manager was more forthcoming when asked about 19-year-old midfielder David Turnbull winning five awards - including player and young player of the year - at the club's annual dinner. Turnbull - also in his first full season - has scored 11 times in 30 appearances. "For me, he is the young player of the year in Scotland, never mind Motherwell," Robinson said. "He's improved on the defensive side, he's got fitter, he's got stronger. The talent he had was always there. "He's caught everybody's attention. People are speaking very highly of him, a lot of people are looking at him and he deserves his recognition."

  15. Announcement tomorrow (hopefully) https://spfl.co.uk/news/post-split-fixture-update
  16. So when can we expect these to be announced?
  17. I've only got the two Irn Bru cup games earlier in the season to compare them to, but the team definitely appear to have regressed since then based on the evidence of tonight. I get that it is difficult to be overly critical of such a young side though. I agree it was disappointing we didn't really change to a more attacking formation after going behind.
  18. I'm old enough to remember us playing a reserve cup final against Celtic at Fir Park in the late 80s, so it has definitely happened before. The only explanation I can think of is they think they will get a bigger attendance if they play it at the home ground of one of the teams taking part(???) Does seem unfair, but I will be going regardless.
  19. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47635855
  20. I emailed Hearts to ask about this... "Both sets of fans will be located in the Main Stand but segregation will be in place. We have sent tickets to Motherwell to sell."
  21. So the Reserve League Cup final against Hearts will be played at, er, Tynecastle... https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2019/03/15/reserve-league-cup-final-set-for-tynecastle
