Grant will be responsible for managing our club media output, PR and communications and marketing. He joins from STV, where he has spent the last eight years working on their sport channels in digital media and TV. He helped establish STV Sport as one of the countrys leading websites, before crossing to STV News to be their Sports News Correspondent. Previously he worked with Livingston FC. Grant, who started his new role this week, said: Im delighted to be joining Motherwell at such an exciting time for the club. This is one of Scotlands most innovative and creative clubs and Im looking forward to working with the team to create an even better offering for our supporters. 1st half cost us today. 2nd was a bit better. Thought Bigi made a difference when he came on. Terrible conditions for football, and the referee didn't help either. Not overly worried either. It's hard to be too critical given the run we've been on.

Just wondering, was the initial plan to have the display in the west stand only, similar to the 2011 cup final? Could the extra funds be used to extend the display to our allocation in the south Stand? Just a thought.

Sophisticated fraud The Scottish football authorities have said the situation is "very serious" for the club. The SPFL warned clubs in August to guard against online fraud, after Annan failed to receive an £18,000 payment from the league at the end of last season. The funds had been paid into a fraudulent account and police launched an investigation after the money was retrieved.
