St Johnstone definitely the better side from the start. They at least can pass the ball and have a higher energy level and desire than Motherwell. We are wide open on our left. O'Halleran has the beating of our defence all day long. I'm surprised that we have not shipped a goal yet. Still, let's hope for a better 2nd half.

The lack of quality in this Motherwell team is embarrassing. Simple control and passing seems to be beyond most of them today.

I have to say that I'm not convinced by McGinley. He is frequently caught on the ball and played a fair few poor passes today. Early days yet, and it has been a very start/ stop season so nobody in the team has had a chance to get any kind of momentum. Jury is out yet.

I have to agree with most of what has been said about the first half. Motherwell are slow and ponderous in the build up, second best with the accuracy of passing, County offering not a lot, Long not in the game. A difficult second half coming I think.

I actually thought that Lamie was decent at Livingston, but he has been very poor since joining Motherwell. Mugabe is improving but has a long way to go.

Agree that the ref has been against us but that is now excuse. We have been unforgivably bad.
