For me the defending is far too late in the opposition build up. Too much of the pitch is surrendered and there is no pressure on the ball preventing crosses or some quick passing around the edge of our box. Almost inevitably this leads to having to make last ditch blocks or tackles. I'd much rather defend from the front.

I'll take point from that. Motherwell truly are a side going backwards. I don't recall Lewis having to make a save all night. The old adage is true, if you don't shot you don't score. Dreadful performance, though there has been much worse this season. No entertainment value at all. Just glad that I didn't have to go to Fir Park on a cold December night to watch it.

Difficult one today, gave my vote to Polworth for the little bit that he did in the final 20 minutes.

There are no easy answers. Robbo certainly doesn't seem to have it about him to drive this squad of players forward, but I doubt there are any resources available to do anything about it, either with the playing staff or on the management side. I guess I'm resigned to things staying much as they are and hoping that we scrape enough points together to stay in the league. God help us if we go down this season.

Too early to say. He made one instinctive or lucky save everything else was pretty much run of the mill stuff. Took one cross well. I thought he was a little slow to get down for the second goal, but that is maybe a bit harsh.

A better performance this week, for the first 45 minutes anyway. The second half though was just a shambles. It seems that when we are on top, other teams are able to react to counter any threat that we have, Motherwell on the other hand appear unable to adjust to grapple control from any other team in the league. Yes, I agree. I find it very difficult to blame the strikers when they simply don't get anything to work with.
