I'll take one of those please. I was a big fan of the Arsenal n98 jacket they had a while ago that is quite similar.

She is indeed. Turns out she's Bob Bradley's daughter (and sister of Michael Bradley formerly of Roma). http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/coventry-city/12138725/Andy-Rose-enjoying-his-honeymoon-period-at-Coventry-City-after-marrying-into-Bradley-family.html

If he does sign up then it'd surely suggest that Clay's tea's oot. (fwiw, it's not who I thought it was)
-
Not if it's the guy I think it might be (based on the defender/midfielder confusion). I've no idea if it is or not but putting 2+2 together there's a chance it's someone who can play and has played in both areas of the park.
-
Does he have dual nationality and can also play centre half and right back and was playing in League 1 last season?
-
He's got another club in China now; Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng.

Pretty much. I wouldn't be surprised to see Grimshaw back at some point. We tried to sign him when his loan deal was up after all and he's a pretty versatile player, though I'd imagine his wage would be a bit more than a utility man for us would warrant. Obviously he played most of his games for us in midfield but Craigan had him in at right back for the game against Thistle after Baraclough was emptied and if his Transfermarkt info is accurate (I know) that's where he seems to have played for Preston at the start of last season. Would it be that wild a shout if he was one of the defensive options we were looking at.

I'd suggest that it's probably down to the imbalance in the squad. Yes, we've got plenty of midfielders but half a dozen of them are a similar "type". Robinson stated it himself, we don't have a lot of creativity in the side. If it's an attacking midfielder he's going after then chances are that's what he's looking to address. McHugh, Bigirimana (from what I've heard), Campbell, Clay and Lasley (if he takes up the option) are all traditional central midfielders. Cadden ran himself into the ground last season and his form suffered, equally as smashing a player as he is he doesn't create much. Which leaves you with Frear and possibly Tanner filling Ainsworth's boots as an option off the bench. obviously there are guys like Thomas and MacLean but again both are wide players. Right now as far as I can see we're still lacking a creative influence in the centre of the park. Edit to add: To be honest having read the transcript from his interview yesterday that the papers pretty much ran with he's laid out where things stand clearly. As it is he's got budget to bring in another centre half but he'd like two and a pacy striker. The additional centre half and the striker will depend on them being able to move a couple of squad players on which you'd have thought would always have been the case.

He did well at Torquay before so it'd make sense, 18 goals in 44 games I think it was.
-
That's his account been deleted from the looks of things. Wise move from all concerned tbh.
-
I'd be more than happy with a no drama season tbh. Win a few, draw a few, lose a couple. Win some back to back, keep some clean sheets. No horsings, no defensive shambles, no last minute losses. Some decent football and a fairly stress free, non-relegation bothering mid-tableness. It's not *too* much to ask for eh? Oh, a cup run would be nice.
-
In fairness to him he was clear in saying that the defence needs to be addressed in his interview earlier so you'd imagine it's on his agenda.
-
Cadden picked up an injury in the Celtic game and he seemed to play through it over the Christmas period. I'd suggest that would have gone a long way to explaining any dip in form.
-
As much as I like him, Moult can't play as a lone striker and Cadden's not a winger. I'd have thought a straightforward 442 would suit tbh. Carson Tait Heneghan CB LB Cadden Bigirimana McHugh Frear #10 Moult Subs: Fisher, Griffiths, McManus, Hammell, Tanner, Campbell, Gordon I can see the likes of McMillan et al going out on loan and I'd say Blyth, Bowman and Clay would be the ones we'd be looking to move on.
-
In fairness in this circumstance I'd have said if anyone was doing the gazumping for Scougall it'd be us. He's been linked with St Johnstone for the past month or more.
-
Both Gordon Duncan & Gavin McCafferty updating from Robinson's news conference there. New keeper to be announced, Griffiths signing up as well, we're close to bringing in an attacking midfielder, no one's come in for Moult and we're offering him a new deal. And rest. https://twitter.com/GavinMcCafferty/status/872043823744110592 https://twitter.com/gordonduncan7/status/872043279956807681

Out of contract, experienced left back who can also play centre half. This could be the season that it actually happens.
-
Agree that 10 seems fanciful and am very much on board with the quality over quantity shout but we need 2 goalkeepers (as we don't have either a first choice or back up), a left back (as Hammell can't be expected to go through a season and we thankfully released SuperJoe) along with a right back (given we ended up with Cadden playing there in Tait's absence) and a centre half (given we fell to bits with and without McManus in the side). That's 5 already, none of which seems outlandish. As others have pointed out, all 4 of our strikers fit the #9 profile to greater or lesser degrees. It wouldn't be a huge surprise if another forward came in with one (Blyth probably) moving out. Given Craigan's comments at the end of the last window about there being more of the 20s group he felt would benefit from getting regular game time on loan I wouldn't be surprised if we were looking at getting those players out on loan.

Here's an interesting comment about Tanner from the Plymouth forum: "I think he was one of our most naturally talented players. However I don't think he suited Adam's style as he preferred taller , faster out and out wide men. Whenever he played more centrally, I always felt he was in Carey's shadow too. He scored 12 in 80 odd appearances but I reckon 20-30 of these were less than 10 minutes each. I thik he has more like a goal every 5 games record, which is solid for a midfielder. If given the freedom and confidence of regular football, and a role which suits him, I think he will be a big player for Motherwell and one we may come to regret losing in 1-2 year. I can see him playing Championship football in the future. Good luck Craig, thank you for all your hard work I met him after a game once with my son and he was a really nice bloke too." Just one guy's opinion etc but it seems quite a balanced view.

To be honest I think you could perm it in a few ways. 4411, 442, 433 and the 4231 you mentioned.
-
He was with a 2nd tier Czech team after he left us. FK Viktoria Zizkov, he's a free agent now though.
-
No, their fans think he's worth 6 figures (and many fans are utterly delusional about value). I'd imagine that after their relegation they'll be looking at some sort of mutual release.
-
It's not reliable. He signed a new "long term" deal last year https://www.hartlepoolunited.co.uk/news/2016/april/carson-signs-long-term-pools-deal/
