  1. You are a total fanny of a man. I bet you aspire to wear a yellow jaiket!
  2. Exactly. Guys go to the football and are passionate about the game, and maybe have had a few beers beforehard, so there arseholes try to provoke a reaction out of folk to justify chucking them out or getting them arrested. The are a bunch of self-sustaining, condescending wankers who clearly get some perverse pleasure out of having a wee bit of power for a couple of hours a week. You just know that in their lives away from doing that job, they are universally disrespected and pitied. c***s.

That's the last time Provan Sports use this guy to make sure the shirts will fit everyone...
  4. On Tuesday night, I was standing up the back a couple of seats from the aisle, as I always do, and the Steward at the end of the aisle was standing minding his own business, exactly as I was for the first half hour of the game. A more senior steward (ie, walkie talkie and small penis) came over all heavy handed and told me to sit down. The way in which I was spoken to could have, in a more tense environment or with someone a bit less tolerant, led to a scene out of nothing. To make matters worse, he then gave the young steward who was doing his job exactly how he should to my mind, a very public and patronising dressing down about being vigilant and observant to potential flash points. Anyone with in fifty yards could tell that the only person causing any potential flashpoints was himself. This has gone on for too long, and something has to be done. However, I think we may be farting against thunder as a lot of wee idiots do annoy people down the far end and I don't doubt that some older people are relieved when they're chucked out. People minding their own business like I was being spoken to like a second-class citizen are suffering as a result. Another point is that because of the cheaper entry fee on Tuesday, there was possibly a number of fans in the ground who wouldn't normally go and, if they were victims of this heavy handed stewarding or witnessed it, I doubt they'd return in a hurry.

    Co-op Draw

Normally I would agree with that Dee, and I probably still do, but I think with O'Brien, Slane, Humphrey, etc, we might be better equipped than ever to take them on on a big park.

That's only in the league. They have a 100% Cup record against us there.

    Co-op Draw

The unfortunate thing about the rest of the draw is that if we do beat St Mirren, both the Old Firm and Dundee Utd look as though they'll be in the last four aswell, but you've got to expect a tough opposition in any semi final. Bring it on.
  8. Arguably the two best teams in the country going forward, combined with two fairly inconsistent defences. Should be a classic, but that's when they often disappoint. I'm going for 1-0 Hibs.
  9. That picture of the baby with Hammells face is fucking disturbing.
  10. Students, whether they can afford it or not, are stiggy by nature and therefor wouldn't come to the football in their droves if they were charged full whack.
  11. Is it just me who is yet to be convinced by him?
  12. Good shout that man! That would be my guess aswell. As for your shouts above, Shivute was obviously before Kemble, but Don Goodman was in between times aswell.

I like Ritchie Foran, so I clapped when he left the pitch. Motherwell were pish, but they're my team so I clapped when they left the pitch. Simples!
  14. I agree with that, Lobey. Hopefully he'll get a start tonight. Murphy has had enough of a chance. Now let's see if McHugh can do a better job.

I don't have a sponsor on my home shirt and it didn't cost me any extra... In all seriousness, my main concern is how this could affect Motherwell financially. Surely if Jaxx get wind of the fact that players tops will only show the sponsor for half the game when we wear our away strip, and that fans are walking about the streets without the logo, then they'll be entitled to demand some of their cash back?
  16. While I'm not quite as melodramatic as our Milo, I must admit I did also fear the worst when the fire sale was in full swing and we seemed no closer to having a new manager. However, I feel no shame whatsoever in saying that Jim Gannon has come in and proved me wrong, much the same as I'd have taken no pleasure in saying I was right had the unthinkable happened!

I think I'd go for... .....................Ruddy......................... Moutaoukil Craigan Reynolds Hammell ..........Hately......... Jennings.............. Humphrey.......Coke..............O'Brien ..................Jutkiewicz....................... I fancy us to see ICT off with relative ease. 3-0 with Jutkiewicz, Coke and Hammell getting the goals.
  18. I think he's a bit of both but, to be fair, Porter was pish for about two months before he got his act together. Same again in his second season. Jutkiewicz done well to win the penalty against the h**s and nearly scored a belter on saturday. I'm confident he'll break his duck in the next week at Fir Park.
  19. Jutkiewicz has now played in three games - looked a diddy in the first, looked capable in the second and looked good in the third. If this rate of improvement continues then we'll forget about Clarkson in no time. I'd agree with Milo about Ruddy, but I also think that Gannon will have a plan B lined up for January for Ruddy, Jutkiewicz and the right back (not even going to attempt to spell it!) if they are all snapped up by bigger fish. Exciting times just now, but I think tough times will lie ahead and we've got to keep the faith when they come. Without wanting to sound like a miser, I don't think talk of Europe, etc will help the team at the moment. We can all think it, but I'm trying not to say it out loud!

    Dundee Utd

Has to be Ruddy, but I think O'Brien deserves a mention for winning yet another penalty with his clever play. He also deserves an even bigger mention for not picking the ball up when it was given!
  21. You could ask Bop if you could borrow his daft wooly hat with lugs thing to maximise the student look.
  22. Why would you want to buy a ticket from Fir Park given that you'll have to walk through the gate anyway?
