This is Craigans testimonial season so I expect it will be a series of events, probably culminating in a match, so I wouldn't be expecting any Testimonial game to be happening until early/middle next year.

I have a contact within UEFA who tells me the draw is rigged. We are to play Gorica, with the home leg first. Apparently they are Slovenian. You heard it here first....

I've always felt it was inevitable that he would leave and, whether we like it or not, Aberdeen are a bigger club than us with more potential for success. However, whether that potential is enough for MMG or whether he'll hold out for a bigger job, we'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully us sneaking into Europe will be enough to persuade him that the gap between the clubs isn't big enough to justify the switch. I also think that sacking Jimmy Calderwood after doing a pretty good job will have potential managers hesitating, so we'll just have to wait and see.

I bought a bit of turf. Looked there was some right good buys to be had in the Centenary but it was too crowded for me to delve in. Was hoping to get a job lot of something for FPC but it didn't look like they needed to be going down that road as plenty of stuff was getting snapped up early doors so seems to have been a success. Well done to those involved. Also good to see the pitch has been torn up and was being worked on frantically today - hopefully we'll have the plush green meadow that our football deserves soon.
