  1. Of the three things you mentioned there (I agree, all three are great), the Trust directly brought the first two to the attention of the club. Before the Lip jumps in, no, that does not mean that we achieved it. Of course it doesn't - the Trust has no 'actual' power in terms of decisions being made by the club. However, whether the club decided to listen to the Trust in making these decisions, or whether they looked on these forums to gauge opinion, or both (as I suspect to be the case), it doesn't actually matter. The important thing is that they were done, and long may it continue. Frazzle
  2. Bring back Sasa Curcic, and let's start paying players with virgins again. Them were the days... Frazzle
  3. Haha, superb! Being selfish though, I hope you don't get your wish and we end up seeing you and the dug in Wales! Although you probably deserve a home tie for your drive to Nancy! Frazzle
  4. Andy_Harrow - I just noticed your location there - Did I meet you, your missus and your wee dug in Nancy? Frazzle

He is a moaning git, but I can see his point to an extent. It's a wee bit embarrassing, but it's also harmless and people seem to be enjoying the hype. I have no problem with the build-up at all- if it generates a single extra shirt being sold then it will be worth it. Whether it does or not is another matter, but fair play for trying to add a bit of excitement to a dull end of season. Frazzle
  6. Cyprus or San Marino in July would be top notch! Frazzle
  7. Guys, we are there! We're all going on a European tour, a European tour, a European tour! Get the sombreros looked out folks! Frazzle

Is there no way we can get the players posing in a line beside a lawner like the Kampman days? That was the best way to do it, and one of the few good things about that madmans reign.... Frazzle

    Hold The Bus

Still possible for us to be relegated with four games to go and papped out of the cup by St. Mirren. Playing devils advocate here - has this season been any better than the Malpas one? Or do we just think it has been because McGhee keeps telling us it is? Frazzle
  10. You could pm fatcalf on here. Alternatively, I'm pretty sure that they're on sale at the antiques place down the Clyde Side that used to be the banana factory. A bit random, I know, but I'm sure I've seen them in there. Frazzle
  11. At least we learned our lesson about handing halfwits their first managerial job after McCleish... Looking forward to Scott Leitch's reign.... Frazzle

    Sponsors Night

I think I'll suggest that the MST sponsor our old pal Kevin McBride next season then! I don't think you can dress it up any other way - we were made a promise, and charged a premium rate for it, and that promise has been broken. Frazzle
  13. I'm of the same mindset. However, if it's the first week in July and we don't find out until sometime in May, then it's a bit short notice for folk to arrange holidays from work, etc, so I might start making provisional plans. Frazzle

Here it is as you would like it: "Dear Brazilian, I know we agreed (and signed a contract) to charge you £400 for a seat at a dinner, a vote in the PotY and a strip presented to you by your chosen player, but yer no gettin' it. Cheers for the cash. More of the same next year please. It's been a pleasure to have shafted you. Yours sincerely, Murrawell FC.
  15. Was it me who said that? If it was, I've changed my mind now. I always wanted to go abroad to watch Motherwell in Europe - I've done that now, so I would now rather see claret and amber ribbons on the old trophy than anything else. I still think we should get a Euro slot if we did win it though. Not so sure about runner-up. Frazzle

    What's the story Keith? Frazzle
  17. I'm sure they would have had good reason not to attend - it would've been nice if they had let us know, but I won't hold it against them if they lead us back to Europe next season! Most of the legends who were papped out were quite happy to play again anyway so everything worked out well in the end. It was an excellent night, I think everyone enjoyed it and I think it's worth thinking about doing it again next year for another good cause. Also a big thanks goes to, not only the players in the tournament, but to Diane and Karen from the club who turned up and helped out. I'm sure Dianes approach to selling raffle tickets added an extra few pounds to the pot! Frazzle
  18. Excuse me? Are you trying to imply that we were skiving, young Ramage? Frazzle
  19. Great night. Everything went smoothly (eventually!) and as nice a guy as Pat Holtz is, I am very pleased that it was a 'Well player who lifted the trophy. I am struggling badly this morning though... Frazzle
  20. Good news to have our players recognised - hopefully learns them a few things and raise their value a bit. Might go along to Broadwood for the game next Wednesday. Frazzle
  21. I should've seen that coming.... Frazzle
  22. Excuse my ignorance, but what does that stand for? Frazzle

    Chants

"Every man was in fine fettle, and it would be invidious on my part to discriminate." I love that patter. You don't get that from knob-ends like Darryl Broadfoot nowadays. Great find, Ricky. Frazzle
  24. Paul Quinn will nut a ballboy in injury time on the last day of the season. Place your bets now. Frazzle
