  1. Sounds ideal. You can come to the pub with me anytime! Frazzle
  2. I thought this was a gay chat forum. Why do you guys keep talking about football? Frazzle
  3. Positive words mean hee-haw if we lose the next two games and find ourselves in a relegation battle again. Frazzle
  4. Totally agree. He was our best player by quite a distance last night. Frazzle
  5. Wholeheartedly agree. If you do know the names of these people, shop them in. Or pm me their names and I'll do it. Idiots. Frazzle

    Vs Hearts

I'm absolutely gutted this morning. I thought we were the better team for most of the match, without being brilliant. Very disappointed with Hearts - even though we lost, Tynecastle is certainly not the fortress it once was. I thought it looked like a stonewall penalty, and I also thought the Nade incident looked like nothing short of thuggery. However, as Tweed has said, our view wasn't the best and I'll happily take the word of those who had a better view or have seen it on TV. I don't think losing last night is curtains, but it certainly puts much more pressure on us going into the Dundee Utd and Aberdeen games. However, if Hearts are the best of the rest then I think it's safe to say we've got nothing to fear after last night. Frazzle
  7. Almost certainly misplaced... Frazzle
  8. I'm definitely with Sarah on this one. Although, if it would make you happier, I'd maybe say 'celebrating' is the wrong word. 'Showing appreciation for' the people who were responsible for the foundation of our club, and the people who have shaped it since is worth doing. In a similar vein to Rememberance Day, I think it's important that people of my generation and younger have knowledge and respect for the men and women who are basically responsible for our lives being the way they are today. While it's nowhere near as impressive or important as those who served the forces during the wars, Motherwell FC is a big part of all our lives and I for one am grateful to the men who made it so. 9. The same week will also mark the 10th anniversary of FirParkCorner FC, which I'm sure you'll all agree is just as significant an event for 'Well fans! There will be something happening, rest assured. Frazzle

That I did. Noel Edmonds would've been proud of that swap! Frazzle

    Canterbury

I don't doubt the quality of the new gear - I just think it's another bug-bear for the fans that they have to shell out on yet another new strip. Given that this is the third season on the trot that both shirts have been changed, I think there should at least be some discount in price for people who have bought the previous two, or some similar sweetner. At a time when money's tight for everyone, and when the 'Well fans feel less considered by the club than ever, this is badly timed. Frazzle
  12. And surely Gilmour Street is the wrong station for fans to be heading for from the new stadium? Frazzle

I don't think anyone is saying that wearing an old strip makes anyone anything, but I'm pretty pissed off about this to be honest. Bukta were probably my favourite kit suppliers in my time as a 'Well fan, so I'll be disappointed to see them go. I'm also disappointed that the fans charter was basically broken again as there was no consultation with the fans. Thirdly I'm disappointed because I swapped my JAXX top with a Nancy fan and then went and bought another one. If I'd known, or even suspected, that there was going to be another change then I wouldn't have bothered paying full whack for six months wearing. Frazzle
  14. If the 'Well boys folded because of the back two rows rule, because they don't want to lay down to 'the man', then what exactly do you think you achieved by folding? Had you kept it going and reasonably policed your side of the bargain, you could've potentially gone back to the head steward/match commander and negotiated further rows, but if you think falling at the first hurdle makes you look cool and allows you to consider yourselves a sort of vigilante movement, then so be it. There's people a lot older than you that desperately cling onto a rebel image and lose all credibility as a result of their actions so I wouldn't feel too bad about it if I were you, but I think you've made the wrong decision. Frazzle
  15. Just been reliably informed that the proceeds of the Game Show Night are going to Youth Developement. I was going to go anyway, but that makes it all the more worthwhile. Let's turn out in numbers and help make it a enjoyable, and succesful, evening. Frazzle
  16. It's not quite CC Blooms, but should be a decent night! I don't want to sound like I'm nit-picking, but it doesn't say where the money is going. The PotY at Shawlands last season must have made a fortune and, when pushed for an answer, the club said that it was for 'the Commercial Department' and I'm not too keen on that. Would much rather see Youth Developement, or even a new pitch fund, get the wedge, rather than it going towards glossy posters and tartan jackets. Frazzle
  17. This new group can do whatever they like, but they'll seriously struggle to gain any credibility with that name. Whoever came up with it should be bull-whipped. Frazzle
  18. There was no discontent from me towards anyone and, even if there was, that wouldn't be the same thing as 'The Trust turning against a section of the support'. My disappointment was that the meeting that I had such high hopes for is currently looking like a missed opportunity as both parties involved in the main part of the discussion have said one thing and done another. That's all - nothing to stir here... Frazzle

I'm 99% sure he's going to be there, but will find out and confirm. I didn't realise he had his own one-man fan club. Frazzle
  21. I can blame them for their actions before they folded though. However, I won't give them too much of a hard time as I believe there was a lot of wee dobbers hanging on their coat-tails. They could've probably policed it better, but it's a lot to ask of teenage boys. I'm sorry to see them go. Frazzle
  22. In a nutshell. Spot on. Frazzle

If you're waiting to be impressed by the presentation of the MST board, you'll be bitterly disappointed! But aye, the site is good, and we've got John Wilson and Phil Speedie to thank for that. Onwards and upwards, etc Frazzle
