  1. I think it's actually more of an initiative for help nurture U18, U19 players, rather than to relieve financial restraints. What's the point in having old duffers playing in the reserves with young talent sitting on the bench? I personally think it's a good idea, but will probably benefit other teams more than us because we do it already. Frazzle
  2. Since we're giving 'Flow a hard time, who's this John Bowman that scored in the Cup Final? Frazzle
  3. I think John Boyle took the huff after the 'No Means No' campaign and basically said he wouldn't be doing it again. Frazzle
  4. But how much would you end up spending in the boozer? Get yourself to the game. You know it makes sense. Frazzle
  5. Given that the two heated balls will no doubt be in use, I'd be happy enough with the Old Firm, ourselves and Aberdeen all being kept apart so that if we all win, 5th place gets a Yoofa slot. From a solely Cup perspective, Yir Elder's is about right, although I'd probably rather be away from home. Frazzle
  6. The day when I eventually knock fuck out of Mitch will be a special day... Frazzle
  7. This Cup run is really testing the 'Well fans so far. If we go on and win the thing, there will be a very small number of Dossers who will be able to say they were at every game - I'll be one of that small number though! Frazzle
  8. But you didn't applaud him, ya negative cu^t. Frazzle
  9. We'll certainly pass that on, Dave. I'm pretty terrible with street names so can't really think where you're talking about, but we've had a lot of positive feedback since the road closures were implemented. Obviously, it's a difficult job to figure it out perfectly first time. I'm sure if this is deemed to be a problem, it'll be easily fixed. Frazzle
  10. I genuinely believe we'll win comfortably tomorrow. 2-0 in 20 minutes, eventually winning 3-1 or something like that. However, whenever I'm confident, it makes me worry. Frazzle
  11. And quite rightly so. Frazzle
  12. I think that's an old picture mate - game will be on. Frazzle
  13. There was one in the programme if I mind right. I was in hospitality that night and certainly don't remember seeing any kicking about as normal. I'm sure the organisers read this site so I'm sure you'll find out soon enough. Frazzle
  14. Not if it wasn't in writing, I wouldn't imagine. Some wee office lassie talking pish on the phone can't be legally binding, or else the world would be in real trouble. Typical stuff from the 'Well, I'm afraid. To be honest, I don't think they should have given refunds at all. Everyone knew the risks of buying a ticket for a game in Inverurie in January so you either take the gamble, or you don't. It would be MFC losing the money if they gave refunds, not Locos, and not even the split pot. Frazzle
  15. Yep, me too. Buggered. Frazzle
  16. Aye, and then we could've played all night and not scored! Drunken Duncan's last game, if I recall. As for the bus - If I don't make it, just go without me. Better one Dosser misses the game than a busload. Cheers anyway. Frazzle
  17. I am one of Mitches 3 seats for the bus - where's it leaving from? I might end up missing it as I've to drive back to the 'Well from Newton Mearns and it's mental weather through here. Frazzle
  18. I'll accept being called gullibe, but not 'Frazzel'! We'll just need to wait and see what happens, but it was by no means a done deal. Just a bid. Even then it might not be true so I expect him to stay. Frazzle
  19. I haven't heard anymore about it, but it's from a reliable enough source who has been right quite a few times before. Never been wide of the mark in anything he's told me, actually. Frazzle
  20. Seemingly a concrete bid of £275k has been received for Keith Lasley, but that's all I know. Does anyone know who it was from, or if it will be accepted, etc? Frazzle

The 50p is mental. Unless you live in North Lodge and stoat past Fir Park on the way to get your morning paper, it would cost you more than the 50p to get to Fir Park. If that's an attempt to hide the fact they're money-grabbing gets, then it's failed miserably. Frazzle
  22. To be fair, if he's only going down for a medical today then they can't really publish anything. That's where 'Flows hands are tied - I'm sure he knows what's happening but can't run the risk of looking like a tit if red tape stalls the deal or even kills it. On the subject of the transfer itself, I'll be sorry to see Porter go, of course, but it is a good bit of business and if it helps to secure Klimpl on a permanent deal, gets the guy Webster signed up and maybe one more signing then it's been more than good value. On top of that, if we manage to swap Malcolm for Cowie then we'd be in much better shape for the second half of the season than we were for the first, especially now that McLean is almost back in contention. I might need to buy another sombrero... Frazzle
  23. Woah! Let's not be casting dispersions on FirParkCorner here!! Frazzle
  24. I meant more from an MFC revenue point of view, than myself looking for a new waterring hole! But, aye - I take your point about the new ground. Someone with more information/business acumen than myself would be able to tell if the club would get more than their initial outlay back in the time between now and the stadium move. Frazzle
