If Ramsden hadn't got injured, it would have been him. If Vigurs had a first half to match the second half of the season, it would have been him. If Carswell had a bit more game time he would have been a shout. As it is, it's between the captain and big Handsome, I wouldn't grudge either of them but Lasley gets my vote marginally, especially as Sutton will have the Top Goalscorer trophy in the bag.

Why did we have a load of stewards tonight that had never set foot in Fir Park before telling everyone to sit down, yet still failed to stop a bunch of weans getting on the park? Do we get a refund if they are proven to not be fit for purpose? Of course we don't. The last home game of the season is one that could swing a few peoples decisions on whether to invest in a season ticket for the following campaign and this nonsense rearing it's head again won't have helped with that.

Just to clarify, I don't think that the referee has an anti-Motherwell or even pro-Aberdeen agenda, but the fact remains that the last game between the sides, he was the guy who allowed a studs-up challenge / punching ball combo to stand as a goal in injury time to cost us three points over Aberdeen, a decision which has turned out to have changed the complexion of this Sundays game. Even if he is an absolutely bang-on guy and wonderful referee, that must have figured in his thoughts and, perhaps more significantly, in the thoughts of the players involved in the match.

I will be fairly annoyed if UBH keeps teasing us with these brilliant designs and the real one is a shanner.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the squad that we will take to Europe will be the closest one yet to the one that qualified for it (if that makes sense). That can't be a bad thing in terms of being able to compete. Fingers crossed for a kind draw.
