I generally follow players that play for Motherwell because you can get wee snippets of info you dont get elsewhere- how many of the rumours on this site are attributed to Twitter, for example? I usually unfollow players as soon as they leave us- not through any wild hatred or anything mental like that- purely because I dont need to see them posting stuff about their new clubs. I tend to continue following players I have a particular fondness for- Moult being one and Murphy being another. However, seeing Murphy post up photos of himself in Rangers strips as a kid and the gushing over all things h*n put me off him. It also made me realise that I could expect to see that sort of guff on a regular basis as he plays for them. I dont hate the guy but the memory of him playing for us has now been sullied somewhat.

Ive watched a lot of Peru recently and they look a top side. My dark horse tip to surprise people in Russia.

It was- would've made it 3-1 to us and I genuinely believe if he'd scored that we'd have absolutely pumped them, before obviously losing to Dundee in the final.

Imagine we beat Celtic home and away in the league with beating them at Hampden in a Cup Final sandwiched in between. I'd be dead.

I'd say we're probably two points better off than where we should be (beating Hearts rather than the draw I hoped to sneak) so I'm not getting carried away. A win at Easter Road on Saturday, however, and I'll join you all on cloud nine. At the moment I am quietly satisfied and cautiously hopeful for the rest of the season.

I didn't say anything about a conspiracy- I was just pointing out that 12 home draws on the bounce is an unlikely pattern. Absolutely correct to point out that it's as unlikely as any other combination but it is a more noticeable pattern. I also think it would have received much more media coverage had they been away a dozen times in a row, which is apparently just as likely.

I'm not sure I agree with that.

McManus is one of my least-liked Motherwell players of all time. An overpaid, under-performing non-trier for the vast majority of his time here. If he gets a contract extension I'll be livid.

I'm still not sold on Kipre to be honest. I'll be interested to see how he does when he's up against someone who actually plays football for a living.
