I think any Premiership team from the realistic possibilities would be a sellout at Fir Park, particularly if we're at home first or have managed to keep first leg respectable.

Disagree on item A - we'll make more money from a higher league position and we won't have to look at the unwashed hoardes rampaging though our town. Fair point on B though, and as for C I couldn't agree more.

Went for Carswell on the basis that I know he won't win it but feel he doesn't get enough votes when he puts in a shift like that. The only time I remember him giving away the ball away today was in the final minutes when he chased it down to the corner and held into it with zero support from his team-mates. Summed up his energy and endeavour for me. Would be putting a four year contract under his nose now if I was McCall.

Would rather have Celtic away because: A) They'll almost certainly beat us regardless of venue B) I don't want them winning the league at Fir Park.

I think a lot of is would feel perversely better about the situation if there was an Old Firm monopoly on trophies but the amount of utter, utter shite that lifted big chunks of silver above their heads over the past two decades, when we've arguably been the third best team in the country during the same period is mind-boggling and utterly depressing.

Speaking as a passionate boo boy myself (apparently) I would have to say that I would be far more patient towards a young player coming in from the U20s making mistakes than I would someone that has been scouted, brought in with a reputation and paid (relatively) big money.

But when is his contract up? There's no point in giving him a handful of games, paying Celtic a fee then watch him walking away.

This is the type of nonsense that I hope is resurrected in years to come when we are scraping around the wrong end of the table, or worse.
