It would be ridiculous to suggest that anyone would come out and say we are ditching Hollis, but it would also be ridiculous if we didn't do it. Page was never, at any point, a starting XI player when everyone was fit. Hollis currently is, so from that perspective it's an unusual situation.

Yeah, we ditched Randolph. That's what happened. Lucky he had the fall-back option of quadrupling his wages to play first-team football in the English Championship after his life-long dream of playing for Motherwell was snatched away from him.

What they may lack in stamina on the night will surely be made up by their gaffers tactical nouse. LOLZ. Nah- if we don't record a win in this one then we'll have seriously ballsed up somewhere.

Haha- very good. I don't miss many games and I'm yet to see either of our "goalies" convince me they can keep hens oot a close. If the contract situation was reversed, I could just about live with Hollis being number 2 to a new signing next season but he shouldn't be handed a new deal.

We need two new goalies. Gunnar is absolutely murder and, while Hollis appears to be less murder, he should not be getting another contract. I know that football is all about opinions, but I couldn't possibly fathom the point of view of anyone who doesn't agree with this.

I think he'd have been a 4th choice forward at best, behind Sutton, Anier and Faddy, and if we had retained him we'd have had the same problem as we have/had with McHigh in that he's ok but not quite good enough, wasting a wage and blocking the youngsters development behind him in the pecking order.

Don't quote me on that, but I also work for the bank and each year we sponsored the league they looked for 12 fans to go and be "testers" for the official captains photoshoot. I did it a couple of years after this one but unfortunately Craigan was away with Northern Ireland so I got landed with Mark Reynolds! The jist of it was we spent an hour or so with photographers and the SPL trophy, letting them get the best light, angles, etc so that the players could just swan in and do it all in two minutes. The perk for us was a free strip, Hampden Tour plus a guest with lunch and a photo with the player and trophy. Not a bad deal really!

Disappointing that the only Motherwell captain to lift a trophy in my lifetime is on my "hated" list, but the guy is clearly an absolute prick.
