Nah, I didn't shout anything that any players would hear. I told my mate that he was murder and she was sitting close enough to overhear- obviously I didn't know who she was until she said. She proceeded to rant about how all football fans are idiots and how people like me are why she hates coming to watch Motherwell. I just reminded her that us idiots were paying her mans wages and she didn't have to come. Only raised voice or silly nonsense came from her. The last point is correct, although in his defense I don't think it was an actual call-out for a square-go.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the OP? And for what it's worth, I thought it was a reasonable point of interest that Hateley is being left out of the team when he's not really injured- it looks like I was right given how it's rumbled on. His missus was hee-haw to do with the original post or why he wasn't popular amongst the 'Well support. I find it unusual how it's sad that I mention an ex-player that things aren't going well for, but it seems encouraged to revel in the success of players who leave. I was delighted to see Murphy score at Villa Park yesterday- is that allowed? Seems a bit like North Korean to only be able to mention the positive stories.

It's just a general impression. From hearing that he demanded a midfield role after being rescued from obscurity plus rumours of him being our highest earner, plus he hit every set piece even though 95% of his deliveries were absolutely brutal, on top of the fact his dad is an absolute h*n wank, which in turns got him undeserved rave reviews in the press. There was plenty not to like about him for me, and I reserve my right to that as a fickle football who contributed to his wages while he was here.

Did he not get KB'd after a trial at Killie? I suspect he'll be in the Mark Reynolds 'fun oot' camp after leaving us having played almost every game for a few seasons and may get a move back to a faltering SPL team in a season or so.

Despite Tranmeres poor run of form, manager Ronnie Moore has been falsely claiming that Tom Hateley has been injured for the past two months to justify leaving him out of the team. Surely Tom joins a long line of folk who have left us for the promised land only to regret it. Terrible shame!

Maybe start Hutchison just to break May in the first five minutes, take a booking then put Carswell on for him and revert to the existing back four.

I tend to agree that we should have enough to win, but it seemed like they were unlucky not to beat ICT so hopefully we don't take the victory for granted.
