  1. A specific update would be better- "He hasn't sign as we expected because xxxxxxxxxxxxxx has held up the deal because xxxxxxxxxxx but we still expect it to be finalised by xxxxxxxxxx'"
  2. I take exception to that a wee bit because McCall said he expected him to sign on Monday, then he said on Tuesday that he expected it to be Wednesday morning. There obviously HAS been something to update us with or the deal would be done by now.

    New Away Kit

Naw. Paint a wee claret V then maybe. But naw. Having said that, as long as the guy wearing it likes it then who gives a fuck? I'm sure plenty folk think a 1987 'Well top that's about 4 sizes too wee for me looks daft but I like it so I wear it and that's all that matters.
  4. He's done his hamstring....
  5. Phew! The fear has been lifted (for now...)
  6. You'll not moan too much this season, unless Legia happen to be your Polish team....
  7. Did you quote me and say nothing just to make me feel paranoid? If so, it worked.
  8. I think your point is valid if you were talking about winning the cup, but not finishing 2nd.
  9. "Led to believe...." by who exactly?
  10. Fuxake johnstone- you can record it and watch it when you get back!
  11. From Real Radio: Motherwell boss Stuart McCall is ready to follow St Mirren's lead and raid Newcastle's army of reserves. The Fir Park club are set to re-sign James McFadden today and manager McCall is still to decide on whether to make Estonian trialist Henri Anier his seventh summer signing. Former Scotland defender Stephen McManus - who missed last night's 4-2 defeat to Newcastle - put pen to paper earlier this month and joins fellow new recruits Paul Lawson, Iain Vigurs, John Sutton, Fraser Kerr and Gunnar Nielsen. But McCall says he is still after another pacey wideman and could follow Saints boss Danny Lennon's lead by taking some of the Geordies' youngsters on loan. St Mirren borrowed both Paul Dummett and Conor Newton last term and made the most of their talents by winning the Scottish Communities League Cup. McCall said after last night's friendly defeat to the Magpies: "I did speak to Alan Pardew about some of his lads. He told me some of them are going to the Championship. He told me if there was any of the others that I saw and was interested in, I was to stay in touch.'' Among those who caught the eye was England Under-19 winger Adam Campbell and McCall admits he may make a move. "The little lad Campbell who came on up front was quick and I'd like to get a get a quick wide man in who can play left and right,'' he said. "We are still trying to search for that. Whether there is enough left in the kitty or if we can get the right one in remains to be seen. I don't just want to bring someone for the sake of it. "It might be a younger one from the Premiership who comes in for six months on loan. St Mirren did that last season with the lads Conor Newton and Paul Dummett from Newcastle. "We've got no out and out pace anymore since Chris Humphrey left so ideally I would like a wide player in.''
  12. I think it's a disgrace that we let a trialist hit the penalty.
  13. If he's in the squad tonight, he has to be announced as a trialist if he hasn't signed a contract. Is that right?
  14. Fingers crossed he's as good as the last one!
  15. Just how high is their stock though? Faddy still hasn't played a full half season in the last few years and McManus is out of favour down south and wants back near his family. And neither of them are getting any younger. I think they will be the top end of our scale but I don't think it will be mega bucks.
  16. I thought I'd heard somewhere previously that she was a Celtic fan aswell, not that it matters, of course...
  17. Pretty sure you missed a couple of zeros there.
  18. You are either a troll or a zoomer. I can't decide which.
  19. Awfirfuxake. Faddy, please sign the bit of paper for the nice little ginger man. That would really be going from the sublime to the ridiculous.
  20. I don't think I've ever been so popular. Everyone is just jealous of me and everything I've achieved.
  21. Haha- congratulations! The inevitable Fraz n Mitch punch-up will probably happen on Saturday night, and you'll be flung about like an empty trackie as usual. Looking forward to it.
