Feel free to denounce my right to be called a fan if it makes yourself feel better, but I think Kerr is absolutely brutal. I'll always support him because he's a young lad who always gives 100% but I don't think he's got what it takes to be a starting XI player at the moment. If we bring in another defender and Kerr makes a dozen appearances as a back-up then he might develop to be SPL standard for the following season but for right now, no thanks. At the last game of the season in Perth, him and Hollis looked like they'd been dropped in from another planet to play a game they'd never seen before.

If we get anything over £750k for Hutchison and pick up McManus and Wilson for free that would be tremendous. Wouldn't thank you for Boyd though.

I'm not saying Quinn is/was brilliant but we've not had a better right-back since he left.

Quinn is not even on our radar. Doncaster are desperate to keep him but are fearing competition from other Championship clubs. He'll easily be on three times as much as our highest earner next season wherever he is.

Tannadice always makes me remember us winning 2-1 there in the 1993/94 season in the horrible tyre-track strip with them scoring two OGs and big Sieb keeping us in it.

To be honest, I've prefered Ramsden at centre-half but if he ends up being right-back next season I could live with it. Hutchison and McManus with Cummins as back-up and Hammell at left-back with Angol keeping him on his toes is a fairly decent defence for my money. Sutton, McHugh and Moore is a strikeforce that is potentially very good but they are all a risk in terms of relying on them to lead the line every week so I'd like to see another striker added in from somewhere. A right midfielder and a goalie seem essential but I'm sure McCall has both of these under control. I expect five signings between now and the European games.

The club will have projected probable attendances if the price was a tenner, £15 or £20 and attempted to strike a balance between maximising income and keeping fans happy. The prices will only go down when we stop turning up so there's no point in moaning about it while fishing cash out of your pocket and handing it over. And every club in the land knows that football is a unique business in that the vast majority of us will pay whatever they choose to charge, and if a few stay away the club will squeeze the rest of us a little bit harder to compensate. PS- apply the above paragraph to any club pricing tickets for any match. It's far from unique to us or next months friendly.

But I would imagine he hasn't moved house from where he stayed when he played for us before. Would Aberdeen offer so much more that he'd turn down European football and familiarity within the club on top of relocating himself and/or his family?

No, but it would be nice. Seems daft not to let folk know. The issue seems to be whether or not Donnys pitch will be ready as the game has been agreed in principle, but it would be a shame for fans to miss out because it ends up being announced at short notice.

Lambert and Dolan while at Motherwell conplimented each other. He only became a poor mans Jamie Dolan after he left us.
