  1. I have a couple of free tickets for the game tonight. PM me or give me a call/text on 07920424590 if any 'Well fans want them. Cheers.
  2. I think we'll get pumped tomorrow night. I've almost resigned myself to it. And I'd certainly settle for it for a win on saturday. I genuinely fear a relegation battle now.
  3. Depends on how late in the day it gets! Make me an offer...
  4. If anyone is looking for a ticket for tomorrow, drop me a pm. Looks like I'll have at least one, probably two, no longer needed. Cheers.
  5. Nope! But I can tell you for nowt that I'm far from the only cynical 'Well fan, and we weren't born that way... Edit: Just noticed the earlier question posed - The Trust board members were encouraged to join this SAC when it started, but just as individual members like everyone else. Not that I was against that as such - I just didn't see the point in attending two sets of meetings to discuss the same issues with a different group of people. I know there are folk who like to be on loads of committees and love the feel of a blazer on their breast but I'm just not one of those guys, despite what some on here may say!
  6. Yeah, I thought it might coming from me, but it's genuinely not. As I say, I hope the well-meaning messages coming out of the club turn out to be exactly that, but it's difficult not to be a tad suspicious. If this can adequately replace the Trust, and there's never a need for a shareholding body with a membership due to the fact the club continues to be ran well and to the satisfaction of the fanbase then there will be nobody happier than me.
  7. I hope this all works out but my first impression is that there is absolutely nothing there that is not already offerred by the MST, and it could well be the death knell for the Trust. That may not seem like a disaster at the moment, but if the powers at be in the club(either present or future) take a sinister turn, having the fans represented by a group of yes men with no actual power whatsoever would suit them far better than an independent body with a membership base and a shareholding. If I was a cynical man, I'd say that the club would be quite happy to see the back of the Trust in case they provide any opposition to a forthcoming significant decision that is to be made, perhaps when the property market picks up, and this is a massive stride towards that.
  8. I have tried - it's firmly wedged. To be honest, I can understand it to an extent. Apathy has set in with me. My excitement for saturday is for the day out with my mates and maybe the atmosphere - not the thought of watching the game.
  9. I have a spare ticket and seat on the JDs bus for Sunday so if anyone is making a last-minute decision or hasn't bought their ticket yet give me a shout as I'm going to be spending enough cash in JDs on Sunday without being out of pocket from the kickoff! Cheers

Was only trying to get a reaction out of Malky that time! Where were you when I needed you yesterday Kris?

We're diehards, if it hadn't escaped your attention. No doubt we'll see you at the glamour game on sunday. Give me a shout and I'll let you know who all the players are.

Was just disappointed with the reaction, is all. Was looking for some burst tights to make my afternoon pass a bit quicker. Ho hum...

In case anyone hadn't realised, I was doing a serious bit of fishing there.

Just the diehards on Wednesday then? See you there chaps. There's so many so-called fans on here...
  15. I can't believe how quickly this has all happened, and I'm also gutted that his last game was that drubbing against the vile h**s. My thoughts are with his family and his mate Rab, as I know how gutted he was when he found out he was ill.
  16. Jay is spot-on. You'd get a better atmosphere on the moon than in the Main Stand, but it is probably the best one for your dad by the sounds of things. Also, for information on hospitality, send a pm to Crazy_Diamond on here - she deals with that type of thing.
  17. Exactly. It's absolutely mental that anyone would consider not going through choice.
  18. There's no point in not getting behind him in my opinion. I was never his biggest fan to say the least but he's the Motherwell manager now and if we win the cup this year and he celebrates by getting blotto outside the Main Stand and falling off a car roof with a can of lager then I think I may just be able to warm to him!
  19. awp - Any chance of deleting some pms?
  20. Four of us are booked on the train. I'm crashing in a hotel on the Friday night after a heavy works night out, straight back on the bevvy from Queen Street station - kinda hope the game's off as I must be in the 'high risk' category for arrest.
  21. I think the "We're Only Here Out of Common Courtesy" banner, as well as chucking gold chocolate coins, is the way ahead. Anyone wanna take this on board?
  22. You're right- it's not too busy, and don't call me Shirley...
  23. FirParkCorner have been using Ravenscraig, both indoor and outdoor, pretty much since it opened. It's a bit more expensive than we'd been used to in the past, but everyone in our team is of the opinion that the increase in quality of both the facilities and service more than compensates for the increase in price. Furthermore, we've had a good few league games played that I am certain wouldn't have been played anywhere else in Lanarkshire, including our indoor game against Hearts last saturday. It does seem like MFC have been acting Billy Big Baws about it so fair play to the council for telling them to GTF.
