That draw dashes our chances for me. While I don't think we'll definitely lose to Utd, it means we'll probably have to beat both the Old Firm at Hampden to win the Cup, which I think is almost certainly not going to happen. Even beating Utd, Aberdeen and one of the Old Firm is unlikely. Ho hum.

Sadly not. The Inverness train gets into Queen Street at 23:39 and the last train to Motherwell leaves Central at 23:17.

That is a ridiculously low number for a game of this magnitude. Hopefully sales will rocket now after the late goal on Thursday and a good result down at Killie yesterday. If we end up with less than ten thousand I will be disappointed, and I hope the person who decided on the price increase knows who to point the finger at.

The way we were talking about it in the pub last night applies to this scenario: If you lent your mate a wedge, say a couple of hundred quid to tide him over, and you seen him in Asda with a basket containing half a loaf and a tin of smart-price beans, you'd be less inclined to hassle him for the cash back than if you seen him coming out of Comet with a 42" plasma under his arm. What I mean by that is - yes, Motherwell screwed a few people over by going into admin, but we then played a season with a team of boys and finished bottom of the league. Us chasing Cardiff would only be hypocritical if we had signed a load of players on big money to replace the ones whose contracts were terminated. Cardiff have a damn cheek signing Bellamy et al when they still owe us (and others) money.

When Craigan has a poor game, Reynolds doesn't get dragged into the mire with him, so lets not do it the other way round. Yes, it's a predictable response from me, but Reynolds was directly at fault for the first goal, plus he made glaring errors to hand Hibs the two best chances they didn't score from (shite clearance straight to McBride for his, and diving in/falling on his arse for Nish's). I also counted at least five balls out of defence that went to nobody, not top mention the fact that Craigan had to bail him out twice, once in each half, after an error. Craigan - 6/10, Reynolds - 2/10.
