  1. I've heard a rumour that the new kits can only be washed at 30" temperature? Any truth in this 'Flow? The fans deserve to know.
  2. Knickers in a Twist Season. 'Flow - send yersel' away on holiday for a couple of weeks, leave yer phone and laptop in the hoose and put yer feet up! Let the monkeys wind themselves up with nonsense in the meantime...
  3. Almost word for word what I was about to say.
  4. Slumming it with the peasants rather than sitting in with the h*n dignatories. Obviously one of the 'other' lot...
  5. Could be a bit of a crazy rush, as we won't know who or where we're playing until a week before the game. Bit of a pain in the arse re getting holidays from work and suchlike. Also, from looking at some of the teams in there, one game could be our lot. Certainly no chance of making the group stage.
  6. Not often I agree with fatcalf, but I'm exactly the same. World Cup is a load of pish I can't bring myself to get excited about.
  7. I agree, but strikers of Lukas' (not to mention 'keepers of Ruddys) quality don't grow on trees, and we haven't signed the guys you mentioned up yet, hence my worry. There is a lot to be positive about though, but it will be an important summer for us. As far as I'm concerned, Hutchison is/will be a better centre-half than Reynolds, so I don't think we really need to replace him when he leaves as we will still have Saunders and Page in reserve. With that in mind, I'd be hoping some of the cash we get will be allowed to be spent on a goalie and a striker. If we do that, and keep the trio you mentioned then we should be good for a top-six spot again, but those are huge IFs at this stage.
  8. If we got to play four games against pub teams before the SPL season started every season, then our goalscorers chart would always look encouraging! There is only three players in that list I'd say had goal threat, and at least one of them won't be here next season. Sorry to change the tone of the thread, but I'm worried about where our goals will come from next term.
  9. If we dropped Reynolds' every time he sold three goals in a 'Well shirt, he'd never have made it past double figures in appearances!
  10. I imagine Jaxx wouldn't be too chuffed to be paying top brass to be sponsorring the team, just for the shop to leave their logo off the kits they sold. If you were so desperate for a shirt with no sponsor, you should've just bought a Canterbury one and washed it!
  11. I can't list a draw as my favourite ever game - it's just not right, especially given that half of the Motherwell players playing were utter gash, but thankfully bailed out by the other half!

I think if any of his scouts were at the game last night, we'll be retaining his services!

Just checked the official site. It was only eight games without a win. The Hearts game I mentioned was the one win in a 12-game period.

I would guess it would be from when we beat Hearts on Halloween. That was a brutal run.
  15. Do we think those two things could be related?!?!
  16. Not guilty on that count! I stand in the back row and just duck under the railing when I need a pish!
  17. I wouldn't dispute that for a second! I meant more in terms of swearing, blocking their view, having to stand up every two minutes to let them in and out, etc...
  18. I don't think anyone has said that kids can't sit in any other part of the ground, to be fair. The Cooper was supposed to be a family section anyway - this is just encouraging people to use it. And I think most adults who go to the games with other adults would rather have all the kids in the one place rather than dotted all around us. Yes, everyone wants to encourage a new generation to support the 'Well, but we also want to enjoy the football ourselves in the here and now, and having the East Stand full of kids, and the problems that would bring, would only further decrease the enjoyment factor in our matchday experience.
  19. As I said in the Facebook thread, move stands or wheesht. If everyone with kids moved to the Cooper, it would be packed out every week and I think it would lead to a better atmosphere in the East Stand eventually, which would encourage more adults without kids to go. Could be a real masterstroke from the club.
  20. Thought you'd have been all over it then...
  21. How raging would you be if your season ticket was already in the Cooper?
