  1. I'm not sure if you're having a joke, or if you're completely mental.
  2. Interesting to note with hindsight that if we'd played and won today we'd be sitting in the top six.
  3. Ripley would have saved that....
  4. I demand a recount. Arthur was robbed.
  5. It's fair to say my wee made-up story didn't have the desired affect. Was hoping there would be pant-wetting and foaming at the mouth, rather than general indifference and folk worrying about their mammies.
  6. Was talking to Alan Burrows today and he was saying the club were just going to open the East and PoD stands for this one. Not sure how the Cooper Stand season ticket holders would feel about that.
  7. And making a slightly wild assumption that costs will amount to exactly 33% of the takings, which seems very unlikely.
  8. Would love a non-league away trip, if only to see the pant-wetting on here about tickets.
  9. I don't doubt we have lost a few home fans from Fir Park, as the product is getting worse and the prices are going up, which would cause any business to lose customers. However, I think a significant part of the problem has been that clubs that bring decent supports have been in the lower leagues. I know Hearts, Hibs and Rangers have caught the headlines but even teams like St Mirren, Dunfermline, Morton, etc would bring more than County or ICT. Hamilton also bring an atrocious number for being just across the road. It's been mentioned a few times, and a couple of one-offs have been explored, but there should really be more done to encourage away fans to attend, particularly matches that are a bit further afield. Just off the top of my head, can Motherwell, Kilmarnock, St Johnstone, Inverness and Ross County not sit down together and offer fans an away ticket for each game involving their side for £75 a pop, with proceeds from each sale going to their own club? It would mean a good deal for folk who turn up to all the matches (pretty much half price) and I think knowing that the cash went to the 'Well means folk would buy it without being sure they could make them all. Might not be the answer but something has to be done.
  10. If he's only bringing in cover, that would suggest he thinks we currently have a good enough first XI which, no matter which way you line them up, is completely wrong.
  11. Where did I say he was better? Read it again and tell me where I'm wrong.
  12. I absolutely agree that the players that McGhee has at his disposal are, on the whole, absolute fucking shite, but having said that I don't think he has used them as well as he could have. For one, Jake Taylor shouldn't be allowed back near Fir Park ever again, and sadly I'm reaching the same conclusion about Chalmers. As for the rest, there is a good few that will have to do in the meantime but would like to see replaced ASAP. Central midfielder and a fullback (ideally 2 of each!) and a goalie in January as an absolute minimum if we want to stay in the top flight.
  13. Autocorrect disnae like FUD apparently!
  14. Would command less wages and contribute more than the obnoxious wee did currently occupying our number 77 shirt....
  15. I'm almost at the stage where I'd take a draw in any game!
  16. Very petty on here again. Milos point is entirely valid. We know that if we lose to County, we will be in a worse-off state in the league than previously as at least one of our rivals in guaranteed to pick up something. Quite often in a relegation battle, everyone involved loses and it's a case of "as you were" come Monday morning.
  17. I didn't abuse him for two years, or boo him today. Nor have I even said he's a bad player- he had a few great moments for us- but his work ethic was questionable and he is one of four culprits responsible for us being papped out of Europe by a bunch of fishermen. And even if I had never heard of the guy I'd still be raging about the a'Well fans applauding the goal, as brilliant as it was.
  18. I know I've ranted about this before, but Motherwell fans applauding a goal against us, especially by a player that stole wages for a big chunk of his time here, really does my nut in.
