Listen MATE. I know all sorts of rules. If this has taken place Robinson has to walk. Burrows while we're at it actually, something like this can't go on. What we need atm is clarity though and I urge everyone not to panic. Don't panic. -

Going along the football fans are mental line; the 2 lads in front of me this evening had themselves convinced Motherwell are being punished by the SFA via referees by beating The Rangers in the playoffs years ago. They also repeated the phrase' "fucking great ball" at every pass regardless of its final destination. Good lads. In fairness our red card tonight was one of the worst decisions I've seen following Motherwell. Completely inept from the officials. -

Just back in and agree with most of that. Thought it was a fantastic game after half time, with both side going at each other. Kipre I thought was fucking magic, as was Heneghan. If Dunne could pass the ball he'd be a player. Tanner should have been hooked at half time. Played on the wing, looked so disinterested and didnt track back, leaving Dunne up shit creek. Floated around avoiding the ball. Seemed to be injured maybe when he came off, which I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for. Maclean was good when he came on and finished superbly for a young lad. Watching Cadds and Kipre faces celebrating the 3rd was glorious and fucking hilarious. ETA apparently we made a 4th sub but cannot be sure. Can anyone confirm? -

I work in Dingwall and have 100% record watching Motherwell there. Don't worry lads, we've got this in the bag! -
Bowman has scored 4 goals tbf. Doubt either player you mentioned would have finished as well as he did at Hampden. But I do take your point. As I say, if our better youth players who have already been in and around the squad don't get a chance this season, then I'll wholeheartedly agree with you. But equally they have to show enough to warrant that chance. Maclean going by reports (I wasn't there) was anonymous against Edinburgh City. The same game you're critiquing Frear's performance on. If the youth players show enough in training etc they'll be given a chance, it should be that simple. If it's not, then we do have a problem. But I'm yet to be convinced.

The last time we played with predominately youth graduates in the 1st team we finished bottom of the league, and they included McFadden, Pearson and Hammel. People have short memories. The reason we have signed some of the dross we have is because the youth players aren't good enough and the manager at the time has incorrectly assumed he could find an outside player to benefit the team. What needs to improve is our recruitment at both first team and youth level. MacLean and Campbell need to be given a chance this season, otherwise I will then be on the other side of the argument.

The last 6 months or so of his final season here, he was a stand out. He's clearly a bam, but you're going too far the other way on the perception of his ability, I think. Would take him back over our current 2nd strikers in a heartbeat.

Seemed like a nice guy. Unfortunately he was utter pish. Best of luck, can't believe another club was actually interested though.

You're a roaster. -
I'm all on board with this, I really am. It's the way the club has to operate. However, as I think maybe Ya bezzer alluded to earlier. We have to make sure securing transfer funds now doesn't cost us money further down the line i.e. relegation. If Louis Moult was the difference between staying up and going down we'd probably make a net loss of over £500k from his transfer.

You're having meltdowns all over the place at the minute mate. Calm doon!

Gutted the Tam Scobbie move fell through, aye?
-
Shut it, ya welt.

Some absolute welts on this forum tried to argue that Marvin wasn't our biggest asset at the time, madness. Hopefully he keeps his performance up, gets his transfer and we make another tidy sum. A really good example of our transfer policy coming up trumps.
-
I'll greet if John Hughes gets the job. Couldn't deal with his "Guid honest lads". Plus he's not long taken over at Raith Rovers.
-
The signing of Robinson is simply a deflection tactic to keep us off the scent of the real issue here. WHERE IS THE MONEY BURROWS???

You're not right mate. He's been involved in 6 matches in that timeframe. 7 if you include the 88 minutes he played on 19th. Not a staggering amount of football but not enough to stop him featuring more in this game. The more pertinent reason to argue why he didn't start or come on for Chalmers would be that he was just in the door and didn't know his teammates. -

McDonald contributes massively to the team, we're far worse off without him, as evidenced today. Clay is not cut out for this level. I'm really not sure what you're getting at? -

McGhee's tactics were shite, it's there for all to see. However I will concede that there's a decent chance we would have lost regardless because 'y'know' our players are shite.
