That's same team I'd pick Grizzly. Miller and halliday 2 sitting midfielders with wilson slightly forward on left and maswanhise closer to apstam on right. If sods is fit he will play instead of balmer I think. They still have better players than us but they are certainly fragile and other than celtic our other 3 defeats have only been by 1 goal so I am certainly expecting a really tight game. Wee maswahanise and miller can certainly provide match winning moments so I'm as confident as can be expected but still realise we could lose quite easily. Will be a great day and hopefully great game if we can do it.

Ticket sales no doubt would have been as required . But in my view there was more than that in ground as no spaces in either top or bottom tier or either of aisles.

I didn't say he was lying. I was commenting on other posters. However people in his position no matter who they work for can be let's say economical with the truth. Keeping the peace so to speak.

It sounds crazy to suggest our CEO is lying but certainly not impossible. The response to steelboy is maybe the information he has received from others within the club in charge of those matters. However during game it looked overcrowded and watching video clips from skysports after it suggested mass overcrowding so I am going to believe my own eyes and not listen to what someone else says.

I think Balmer will stay in. His throw ins cannot be underestimated. Basically anywhere 25 yards up from goalline as a throw in is equivalent to a corner. So a huge asset. He can throw the ball to the back post so it really is a game changer as has been proven already .

I feel this also as against belgium he was playing right mid of a 3 I'd say with barron directing traffic in middle and so maybe that's why barron looked better. Miller's best position in my mind is in middle directing traffic from deep but he's been played further forward for ur recently where although done OK I don't feel he is on ball enough to utilise his passing which is strongest part of his game I feel

Totally agree with your 2nd point but your 1st point is not what I said. Top players are constantly wanting it or trying to get it back. Big difference to what you say.
-
Never said that. Interpretation is everything. My observation is justified I feel .Billy gilmour is a ball player but watch him and he never stops moving and he was same at 16 17 18 as he is now. Continuously wanting the ball and wanting it back when he didn't have it.

Yep gemmill is poor but as I said on paper looks strong squad as a lot of players playing regularly in spfl. What it highlights is spfl is not very strong and our players not as gd as some think they are. Miller is only 18 and has all attributes to reach top but I personally feel he has loads to do not least improve his pace and determination. Not meaning to talk him down but Turnbull imo was better although he was 20 in his breakthrough season. If you look at the really top players they never stop running miller just now for me is too passive. That of course is easily rectified and talent which he has in abundance is not. I hope he came off pitch on Friday and thought that's level I need to get to.

Totally agree belgium miles ahead of us. Watson never on miller was anonymous barron and mullen of leeds only ones I'd say were OK maybe other 2 cb murray and neilson. Mebude offered something but I think that showed where we are just now. I also thought johnstone and doig were poor. On paper looks strongest squad for a while buy they look a poorly coached team. No patterns of play all night.

Block e and club disagreements will take a wee bit of give and take I feel from both parties. The situation with the 14 age group is just total madness. We go to high school at age 11/12 meaning for most down street at lunchtime into the local big town etc and generally more leeway from our parents. This age group want to run about with their pals and we need all support we can get so whoever came up with this idea and whoever followed it through must quite frankly be not right in the head.

If there's a chance of ryan jack then I feel the risk is worth it. He is miles in front of anyone else in our midfield with the obvious caveat of fitness. However when phil odonnell came back he had only played 20 games in 4 years and done great for us. Fitness comes and goes and a big part of it is players determination to succeed.

Calm yourself doon .Just repeating what he said. And stop insinuating what I'm saying as your perception is a wee bit different to mine. If a player says what he said if your not shocked with it then I know what's a load of shite . Eloquently put.

I agree this time with you steelboy. Nicholson actually said himself on one of the after match videos last season when asked if he could replicate his super goal he said words along lines of Well maybe if I still had 2 working knees ankles and hips. I was shocked at the time.

Mcginn I'd certainly want to keep. nicholson ? Done some wee bits but plenty like him out there so definitely no loss in losing him. Spittal to hearts is a big loss obviously but what I hope it shows is our best players get moves that increase their wages drastically. Can help with transfers to us with players from lesser teams.
