  1. If that trend continues we will finish with 76 points . Enough for at least 3rd surely
  2. 0-0 I expected a win , however I am delighted with a point. If we were offered 5 points from 9 at the start of the season we would have jumped at them especially considering there are some people on here who have predicted we would lose every game. I don't know what the bigger shock is, us not scoring or us not conceding.
  3. The sheep seem to be all over us. I know it's the wrong thread but as I am writing this Hughes has just scored for norwich.
  4. Strange one! Let's hope it works. Keep the faith!
  5. It does sound as though we are gonnae pish this U19 League
  6. It's not that unhappy for us we have only lost 3 of the last 11.
  7. I thought I would wait until Today before posting a prediction as I have been split all week. One half of me thinks that the former manager syndrome will work agianst us and the other half thinks it will work for us as the players will have something to prove, especially the youngsters. In the end I am edging towards it working for us. I think it will be a see-saw day and won't be surprised if we fall behind a couple of time but the grit and determination that we showed in the St Johnstone game will shine through and i think we will come away with a 4-2 victory with a couple each from Murphy and Sutton. By the way I think if there is a penalty today then we must be on course for the record amount of penalties in one season involving our games. Flamurtari twice, Steaua twice and last week that is 5 already this season.
  8. I wasn't on the forum then or I would have supported you. McGhee's first year was positive , that I am not disputing. If I did disupte it I would be an utter fool, however his second season was anything but positive. He stumbled from one tactical nightmare to another which came to a head with his decision to play 6 defenders against St Mirren when we failed to qualify for the top six.
  9. I refer you to my last post and obviously my views are revisionist. Anyone who changes their opinion on someone or something is revisionist. What is wrong with that? This happens in all walks of life at first you like someone and then you dislike someone. I changed my opinion on McGhee after the St Mirren game when we failed to qualify for the top six. He played SIX defenders in a game that we needed to win. He was CLUELESS! Even after that we had 5 meaningless games when we couldn't finish worse than 7th and he still didn't play Forbes, Slane and Hutchison and why is that? Because he is a wank!
  10. McGhee saw the boys in training. He ignored all 3 of them because his judment is pish. Are u trying to tell me these boys only became decent players in the last few months? Theymust have shown some promise under McGhee. In addition , what the hell has age got to do with anything ? Wayne Rooney was 16 when he made his impact.
  11. The guy is a fuckwit pure and simple why are people defending him?he is trying to take credit for Motherwell's finances. He has an ego the size of ma boaby . He never had faith in Forbes, Slane and Hutchison. Nothing wrong with not playing him but does that not raise questions over his judgement? I am sure it does and feel his judment is utter pish.
  12. Are they ok with Football colours? I don't fancy a repeat of Perth.
  13. Fist interview with the new signing http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/8224856.stm
  14. Aye Australia are crying out for nurses and hairdressers beleive it or not!
  15. I understand your point of view but disagree with it. Paul McGrillen was one of my favourite players during his spell with Motherwell. He may not have been a great but that was down to McLeish IMO. He included him in one of the worst deals in football history (well MFC history anyway). I know I am not the only Motherwell fan who shared an affinity with McGrillen. This may be in the Paul McGrillen thread but I am talking about Brian McLaughlin as well. He was part of the 1981-82 First Division Championship team. Does he not deserve a tribute? Football is a vital part of my life and I admit I take it far too seriously and maybe that is why I think tributes like this are both piognant and important.
  16. Sorry I'm no being a dick here, I just don't understand your point. Do you mean Davie Cooper , Uncle Phil and all the ex players who have died in the past because I'm sure they have had tributes in various forms.
  17. I'm not sure you can tell until you see him play. We will see soon enough when he scores the winner on Saturday.
  18. I think he means the 3 ex players people who died recently.
  19. It is good to actually get an answer. However something should be done. But if we aren't going to get it then we just have to accept it. Still really disappointed though. Thanks Well 73 for pursuing this matter.
  20. I think he was at QOS but he may be at Partick now but that is a complete guess.
  21. I was listening to Open all Mics there and have just heard someone asking about a rumour about Liam Buchanan joining Motherwell. Would anyone have him ?
  22. How can you get shite on yer hands if you don't wipe?
