How do you know there won't be a replacement ? IMO we already have it with Jamie Murphy. I think with regular football he will get his confidence up and score goals, just like David Clarkson did himself.
That's a bit OTT! How are we in dire straits? There is still a month to go before the transfer window shuts. Some people are so impatient it is unbeleivable
We got Porter for nothing and Skippy. The thing is you don't know what's out there for nothing and Jim Gannon probably will. Money doesn't automatically mean goals. And even if a player signs for free there is a signing on fee involved.
He has a habit of doin that! The St Mirrern game when the well fans had an anti-malpas demonstration. he dropped the ball when we were 2-0 up and coasting and we ended up losing 3-2.
Damn! Another turnaround against us
Can only think of turnarounds against us for some reason sorry. 4-2 up against Dundee United and lost 5-4.
Sorry but i'll keep thinking and come up with a Motherwell one.
Aye thats what that chick that plays Becky was doing on the plane. Ask Ayrshire Wellfan he started humming the Eastender's theme tune and then started a chorus of "Steve McDonald yer a wanker". Quality Moment
A colleague who is a member of Wishaw golf course heard this from a club official who is also a member so that could be anyone really. It's nothing more than hearsay but the guy that told me isn't a liar. He also said that JG was up until 4 in the morning one night sorting out tactics for the Flamurtari game. When he said to the gaffer 'is it not time you were in your bed?' JG replied 'I have another hour to go before I can even think of my bed'. A complete workaholic apparently.
I loved that England v Romania game in World cup 1998. I think it was Kevin Keegan with the famous line " There is only going to be one winner and that's England" Cue Romania winning. I laughed me head off.
I also heard about this whilst in Romania. The last memory I have of him was being in the Cumnock end at the Scottish Junior Cup final with a few of my Ayrshire mates. I was enjoying the game but couldn't hide my delight at him scoring the winner even if it was controversial. IMO it was well over the line even if I am extremely biased as he was one of my favourite players. When I started delivering the mail I was delighted when I was delivering a letter in Hamilton and it was for Paul McGrillen. He was true gent and I will miss him greatly. RIP Mowgli say hi to all the other Motherwell legengs in heaven.
I have to ay mate that your fans were fantastic on the night. I thought It was a fantastic gesture when you applauded us at the end. Hope you all have a good time in Scotland.
