  1. Also amazing ho some people never have anything positive to say about the team that they say they support.
  2. If true, I wonder if it will include no relegation and one up. One down 2 up or Champions in the 1st up and play offs between 11 in the SPL and 2,3 and 4 in the first.
  3. They have actually been counted (according to Flow) and the result is pretty clear. However, they need to be independently verified and this will happen on Monday and the results revealed then. So just concentrate in enjoying your weekend
  4. Ok, in general the Motherwell fans aren't a daft or deluded bunch of folk. In general the Motherwell fans will stick together and secure the future of Motherwell fc.
  5. I take he point on board and I don't think anyone is suggesting that it is enough. I was looking to up my society to the £1000 quid level and I'm sure others were too. I'm quite happy to pay an extra few bob on my season ticket. I'm quite happy to pay in to games and leave my book at home. I will attend fundraisers etc. I'm sure others will too and it will all add up at the end of the day. The next 2 years is going to be tough a tough journey and I am not deluded to thinking it won't be. I feel the club will be best placed to fight this by doing the right thing and with the integrity of scottish football intact. That way the fans and the club will be united going forward rather than disillusioned fans walking away for ever. How will that help?
  6. First of all I would like to commend you for taking the time to respond. I am really concerned with your first sentence because Motherwell Football Club should be absolutely livid that a document such as this be distributed without their knowledge when it has a profound effect on our future. I find it deeply depressing that the SPL would put out such a damaging document without consulting their members. I believe Motherwell should be quick to distance themselves from it. I think that the Chief Executive of the SPL should now resign for participating in such a shady manner without consulting and seeking the approval of the member clubs. I can't believe that Motherwell didn't feel the need to comment on this. I also disagree with the second part I have highlighted. In fact there is a thread on this very website where people realise they will have to pull together and are already thinking of ideas to help the club. I have no doubt that as a support we will rally round and help keep the club going.
  7. There is some good stuff in there, for example, the merger of the SPL and SFL but allowing Rangers to parachute straight in to the 1st Division is far too big a price to pay in my opinion. In addition, the language of the document and the threats that lie with it is shameful. Why any of the second and third division chairman would vote for it for an extra 30k for one season only is way beyond me.
  8. There will most likely be a podcast created later on. It normally goes up an hour after the show finishes. That will be about 5 o clock.
  9. Raith and Clyde view The reason i'm posting this is there is a wee sub-section in the middle left hand side of the screen. The bottom bit says "instead Rangers could start life in Division one or three" A few days ago it just said "instead Rangers could start life in Division 1. A day before that it said "Instead Rangers are likely to start life in division 1". Perhaps sporting integrity has the momentum.
  10. I'm actually starting to believe that this document was leaked by on of the SFL clubs against the proposal in order to show the SPL up and get this kind of backlash.
  11. I hope something happens and it goes ok. I can't make it as I already have plans for my mum's 50th. Please let it be worthwhile.
  12. They wouldn't I would think but it wouldn't stop people asking. It's good of you to dodge the other points though and latch on to this. Although a few of the season tickets and well society memberships will be paid in installments and will be duly cancelled.
  13. With us I'd say an extra 2 days . They'll keep counting in disbelief that it isn't the result that they had hoped for.
  14. I'm sure if Motherwell show integrity and do the right thing then they will have a queue of people lining up to help our club in it's hour of need. Support this proposal and there will be a queue of people lining up for refunds on season tickets and Well Society memberships. That is something you continuously overlook. I can't understand anyone supporting a proposal that means we are admitting to a club that whatever they do in football they will not be held fully responsible for their actions. But if you're happy for our club to sell our soul for 30 pieces of silver then batter in.
  15. Aye I suppose that admitting the Old Firm can do whatever they want and not be held accountable for their actions is better eh? Scottish fitba is great eh? Nail on the head!
  16. That has actually cheered me up a bit. The SFL chairmen can't be that daft eh?
  17. Well we know 1. Who is the other? Imagine if that is true, that would mean that the board members who had a vote crossed the No box. Why couldn't they have just said that a fortnight ago and saved all the fuss?
  18. To me there was always a little smidging of a doubt in my head that it was just a bit of paranoia. Now the authorities will be confirming my suspicions. Therefore, the game is finished for me.
  19. See this is what concerns me me, the same as the whole if Rangers are suspended or expelled will lead to financial meltdown. If this goes through Rangers and Celtic will know that. Perhaps they always did but now this will be confirmation of it for the whole world to see. What is to stop them going further? they can break the rules whenever they want and the worst that will happen is them being relegated a division. They can bribe referees, play suspended players fix matches etc. I know those are extreme examples but what punishment is there out there to prevent it? Rangers have to be in division 3 next season to send out this message. Sport and in this case football should be about a level playing field and no amount of money should change that. I always though that football country favoured the Old Firm but there was always in a part of me that thought that it was paranoia. Well if this goes through then it will be confirmation my thoughts and I will be 100% certain, therefore what is the point in being part of a corrupt league? What is the point in me paying £270 for a season ticket, £300 to be in the Well Society and hundreds more in merchandise when I know that the big 2 can trod all over the rest of us knowing safe in the knowledge that we need them? Well to me there will be no point, and I don't say it lightly and I can assure the club and any doubters that it is not an idle threat. I wish to be no part of a unjust Scottish Football where everytime one of the Old firm wants to shed their debts we go through this same scenario. Teams need to be accept full responsibility for their actions. That includes Livingston, Gretna, Dundee, Airdrieonians, Motherwell and aye Rangers and Celtic.
  20. It's no about punishment. It's about the new Rangers followng the same route as any other new team.
  21. Well Andrew Wilson, I will not be uniting behind this plan to "save Scottish Football". Scottish football, in my eyes, will die with this plan.
  22. Im critical too but give them time to get their coffee and have a wee meeting to compile their statement. They have only been in an hour or so .
