It's called believing someone is innocent until proven guilty, If the club had let him go and it comes out he done nothing then they would get questioned for that too. It's called a no win situation. Innocent until proven guilty.

Well being arrested doesn't mean you're guilty. Look how many people were arrested over Cash for Honours, MPs expenses and quite recently phone hacking, What percentage of those arrested were actually charged? People get arrested in suspicion of murder too and then get let go within hours. This is serious and worrying though but there is a hell of a long way to go before charges are made or we find out if he's guilty. This just means that he has questions to answer. Edit: I still don't think it was sending off to this day.

Plus plenty of people miss penalties so he shows bottle and composure to tuck them away. We would have beat Rangers a couple of seasons ago with Higdon's bottle.
-
Comparing the Tevez situation to Higdon is plain daft.

Well a football forum reacts to events that happen in the football world. On Saturday our fans thought that it was ok to give abuse at a player and go in a cream puff and throw the toys out the pram. Do you not think it was inevitable that it was going to be discussed on here? You do have a point about this point being discussed in different threads but that is the nature of the beast. We have a matchday thread and 2 people decided to start a thread with very different angles but aye it does boil doon to the same argument at the end of the day. God help you when we are in Europe next year because their will be a draw thread, a who would you like to get thread, a travel thread, a matchday thread, a when is the ticket office so I can buy my ticket thread?, a that's shite we are only getting 300 tickets the non season ticket holders better no get a ticket and a roll call thread...........Right do you get the picture? A ton of threads invariably discussing the same thing but with a slightly different angle. The titles aren't exactly cryptic clues, it is pretty clear what they are about. You cannae be arsed reading 2 0r 3 threads discussing the same thing don't open them.

Is that not what a forum is for?

Great post Milo. Pretty much sums up my opinion in the whole issue.

If we really are as shit as a few eejits seem to be making out then what does that say about the 9 teams behind us?
-
Or before a game against either half of the bigots the red tops will run a story about when Daley was growing up in Jamaica he loved watching the old firm derbies and he developed a particular love for Celtic/Rangers (delete as appropriate). # Giving the right team this could be written under the headline "Daley Ranger".
-
I don't really agree with that because when we finished 3rd the last time there were games we should have won and didn't. The 3-0 pumping at home to Falkirk springing to mind. Throughout the course of a season you will lose games that you expect to win and vice versa. The trick is to keep the losses against the teams you expect to beat to a minimum. If we lose on Saturday it's not the end of the world although some people will be on here afterwards acting as if it was
-
For once I agree with you MJC.
-
Cause Celtc and Rangers are better teams than the rest. Plus our system of play suits the old firm better than it does the rest.
-
It didn't harm our confidence after the Rangers game. We won our next 2 games scoring 8 goals in the process. I'll take that scenario again thank you very much.
-
Nail head hit. Something like that anyway.
-
I think we agree then
-
That is the way it used to be and see to be honest it frustrated the life out of me. We could go and beat the old firm and then get pumped by someone like St Mirren. The year we finished bottom under Terry Butcher we beat everyone in the top 6 and couldn't beat anyone in the bottom half. I'd rather it this way taking 0 out of the old firm and taking 13 points in every 15 against the rest. Having said that the manner of the defeats is somewhat frustrating to say the least.

Just looking at the FGS prices and that Rasmussen is listed I didnae know he was still at Celtic
-
Anything out these fixtures are a bonus. I think we will take the lead and lose today. 2-1 or 3-1 Celtic with Hateley scoring first.

I will definately be joining this scheme. At the moment I am between the £300 and £1000 options. Se if we raise the £1.5m warchest that we are talking about and we get in to the top six and don't need to use it, I presume that this money will be in a bank account accruing interest. Does that mean if we have 3 good seasons we will have more than £1.5 million in the warchest? Sorry if this seems naive but I don't know how these things work.

Dazzer you're highlighting FIFA world rankings to prove a point and the said rankings are utter bollocks. Gaag gave you evidence that they were shite and you're still using them. These are the rankings that Scotland actually moved up 6 places once without playing a game in the intervening period. The same rankings that has Holland ahead of Spain which is utter bullshit in my opinion. A bit more believable than Burkino Faso being ahead of Romania granted but FIFA RANKINGS ARE SHIT. THEY ARE COMPILED BY SOME SUIT WHO HAS PROBABLY NEVER WATCHED A GAME OF FITBA IN HIS LIFE. I don't think Scotland are a shite as your making out. I think with a decent coach at the helm we can do well. The sad thing is we have an arrogant prick. If he stays for the next set of qualifiers we will get raped by most of that group especially Belgium. Anyway rant over.

Just got a wee shock on the Sky sports news transfer centre where it says Gers plan Murphy move. Thank god it's Rhys Murphy, formerly of Arsenal.
-
It's a bit of a jinx the manager of the month so give it to Neil Lennon
-
Exactly and if he gets us a bumper cheque on his exit all the better.
-
I remember we hammered them at Easter Road a couple of season ago in the cup. I enjoyed that game immensley.

The 4th goal was a tremendous move. I think if the score was 0-0 when that was scored a lot more would have been said about it. It was fantastic football.
