WHIT??? I wasn't comparing him to Phil O Donnell in anything other than situation. Phil played 20 games in 4 years for Sheffield Wednesday before he came to us and I can bet you there were people on the forums at the time that questioned his signing. If I am wrong then I apologise. So I was comparing O Donnell and Jeffers on situation only and supporting the argument that some teams suit some players. Players could be mince at one club and get a new lease of life with another. Well I disagree. If it wasn't for Cammy Bell we would have won that game easy. In my opinion we played some decent stuff against Killie and wit a little bit of luck we would have won comfortably.

I'm satisfied we have got another option in. The jury is out as far as Jeffers is concerned but the same could have been said about any striker we sign. Strikers with a fantastic record in recent times just wouldn't be available in February. So anyone we signed would have been a gamble and any we have signed in recent times were also gambles.
