You could say that a struggling team who hasn't won for ages will come up against us and win. I understand why but what about the struggling Hibs team that came to Fir Park in 1998? They go 2-0 up early on and we all go here we go again!!! Then by half time we are 3-2 and end up winning 6-2. They then sacked their under pressure manager. This is extremely sad news. I met him in Llanelli and have always had a drink with him before home games whenever possible. I remember going to Perth in the first game of last season with him, Rab and Johnny(WellAyrshire) and we got drunk on the train, chucked out of several pubs for wearing colours and then having a great sing song on the train back to Queen Street. I also remember the Hearts game just after the new year last year at Tynecastle. Him and Rab obviously had a bit to drink and they were absolutely hilarious. Cup football is different and our chances can't just be dismissed because we are playing pish in the league at this moment in time. These are one off games so who knows. Sheffield Wednesday are on the up again. For the first time in a while they have little debt and actually have money to spend again. I have a couple of mates that I went to Uni with who are Wednesday fans and I am going to head down their on Easter Monday for the game against Swindon. Hopefully the 2 ex well players are playing. I am going to go for the weekend and take in the Leeds v Reading game. Looking forward to a good weekend of football.

One thing they will make more money on is that the 12 team championship league will have 44 league games. I am not saying I am for it just one of the reasons Doncaster gave for moving from a 10 team second tier to a 12 team one.
