  1. You saved me posting because you are spot on and I couldn't put it better myself especially your final point. I remember the last 10 team league and there was loads of meaningless games at the end of the season and to suggest otherwise is pish and selective memory. It doesn't matter what size the league is you will always get mid table teams with not much to play for.
  2. I heard it was going to be Richard Gough but that was after the Hamilton game (he was at the game) and probably people putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 7.
  3. The worrying thing is I read it six times before I posted just in case I made a tit of myself and then when I read it after I posted I noticed the article said Lasley signed for 2 years Mind you it does say Craigan wants to finish his career at Motherwell and we all know that people in the football world are trustworthy
  4. I disagree Edit : I agree I should learn to read things things fully In my defense I have just finished a 12 hourt shift
  5. Why Craigan? He is contracted until the end of next season and I doubt that anyone will pay for him.
  6. It would just be like the cup draw to pair us at home the the sheep or give us Rangers meaning we will play them 3 times in as many weeks. None of those scenarios would surprise me.
  7. Murphy for me. he was a class act yesterday.
  8. As long as we play with that claret and amber baw I couldnae care !
  9. Just read your full post I'm drunk leave me alone There should still be a bigger top league than 10 !! That's what I disagreed on
  10. Your first 2 paragraphs of the comment I quoted !
  11. We have more chance of getting relegated from a 10 team league rather than a 16 team league. A 10 team league will kill Motherwell. Just take into account the amount of well fans that will chuck it if a 10 team league comes into being. If we get relegated anytime it will be a disaster financially so the bigger the league = the less chance of being relegated and vice versa. So I don't agree with your opinion
  12. We're winning 4-0. Casagolda got them all after 12 minutes.
  13. The worst thing from a footballing point of view with the tight schedule we have (due to the weather) is for for there to be a replay. Therefore, sod's law says that is what will happen. I predict a repeat of Tynecastle 3 years ago. We will go 2 down and pull it back late to get a draw. Then we will win the replay which will probably be 18 or 19 January.
  14. I think you have forgotten how bad he was as well !
  15. What age are you out of interest? Did you never see John Davies in a well top. By far the worst I have seen. I don't think had the ball without losing it ever in my lifetime.
  16. What about the proposal a member of the Trust came up with which gave us a 16 team league and 4 OF games as season? I thought it was a really good proposal. Not if you finished 6-10 granted but hey no system is perfect.
  17. Does anyone actually think this will go through now? I don't think it will and this time last night I thought it would. So where do we go from here? I think when the clubs vote against it you will quickly see the resignation of Neil Doncaster. He will be shown up to have no authority and only as a puppet of the old firm and Sky/ESPN, therefore his position will become untenable . One thing is for sure the next year is going to be interesting.
  18. Interesting interview with Gordon Smith
  19. It has been on all forms of media ( I grant based on assumption) that Motherwell are in the FOR camp. For example in the Daily Record the day after these proposals were announced they had a piece which included a FOR camp an AGAINST camp and an undecided camp. We were in the FOR camp .It has also been reported on all other media channels. I can't help if the media report things based on fact or assumption. My point is why didn't the club come out and deny that they were in the FOR camp? You can't blame people for beleiving MFC were in favour of these proposals if they stayed silent.
  20. It has been all over the media for since these proposals came out that Motherwell Football Club were in favour of these proposals. Why has it taken so long for the club to come out and say it hasn't made it's mind up? A cynic would say that they were in favour and didn't expect the fans to react in the manner they have and now they are trying to spin a line to appease the fans for a while. Only a cynic would think that though
