I don't think it is just his performance on the park. His attitude - I know I have already said this - amazes me and maybe I'm ust used to dick footballers but this guy would play with 1 leg and no arms. He is just a top guy.

I have to agree with the ones who say great keepers are harder to come by. It is easier to find a striker as we have proven in the past.

I agree that we wont be able to afford Lukas' wages. However it doesn't necessarily mean that he will be looking for the same wages. We didn't pay Stephen Hughes the same wages he was on at Leicester. Sometimes a player will take a hit in wages to help himself in the longer term. Having said that I don't think he will take as big a drop to come to us permanently but you never know.

True but it was the Porter syndrome. He fluked one in of his arse remember and he never looked back. Not mention the fact Lukas hadn't kicked a ball for about 2 years previously. I knew all he needed was a run of games and he'd be on his way to being a Motherwell legend.

It may be wishful thinking. Part of me would love him to come back but then what if his comeback mirrors that of Brian McClair. Having said that Motherwell are no strangers to former players coming back to the club. If he came back and showed even a glimpse of what he did when he was here first time round I am for it. Only time will tell I suppose.

The boys attitude is spot on by way. Agianst Inverness he played on one leg and he was in the paper saying the day that he didn't want to come off and would have went back on after getting the stitches. If there were more players with his attitude then football would be in a better place. Can you imagine Callum Elliot doing the same?

Yes, well I did anyway as a colleague of mine said that the Killie pitch was the same. In fact he said the first 2 seasons it was poor in the winter and after that you saw a marked improvement. He told me that it's simple science and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

No it wasn't directed at you personally. It is directed at people who moan about the status quo then find fault in ideas of change. You say it yourself that Motherwell is a business and the status quo is unsunstainable and most of us agree. Therefore as a business we need to change and take a gamble somewhere along the line. That is what the people at the top are paid for. Name me a business that doesn't have to take a gamble?

It would actually work out cheaper in the long run! For a start you won't need staff at the turnstyles. All you need is a couple of stewards making sure nobody is trying to con the club by getting in with a child season ticket when they are 30.

What ifs again. Every club in the premiership uses this system and very rarely have problems.

What is it with people? They greet about the value of football and that things should be better. Meanwhile there is people like Juan putting very credible ideas forward that have been researched. It has proven to be a success with Bradford. All people can do is find fault and spout what ifs. If we continue the way we are going we will not survive and if we do it will not be in the premier league. Whether people like it, we as a club need to take a gamble because wee can't sit around and do nothing. At least if we try something and fail at least we have tried. We are a business and sometimes in business you need to gamble to survive.
