  1. I will put 4 weeks of my wages to that so we only nee 248, 500 quid.
  2. awrite! I haven't heard of that , what is it ?
  3. Had to bring this back. What about Mark Reynolds ? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/8380859.stm
  4. I got a fright when I saw that. I thought it was Fir Park.
  5. That sir is Motherwell all over the back. That season summed us up perfect;y when we beat all the teams in the top 6 but coudn't buy a win against the teams round about us.
  6. Aye the last time ever I think. It has been far too long.
  7. Says who? Fair enough Hibs pumped us but we have a good record against Dundee United in recent games and have beaten them this season and kept a clean sheet (even if due to a wonder save) and we have won at easter road in recent times. So 4 points in the next 2 for me and all will be rosy
  8. He will get a slap across the lug .
  9. I went for a cause. My nephew wanted to go to the game and until yesterday he was a follower of the blue half of the scummy bigot boys and i have been taking him for years to try and rescue him from the darkside. So he made me a promise that if I tok him yesterday he would see the light and become a well fan. So I took him and he got his full motherwell strip, gloves and scarf. He will now be getting a half season book and subsequent season book until for life. What a relief it only took 12 years . So it was incredibly easy, afterall it was my duty.
  10. I thought the first half we were the better team. I thought Murphy was quality at times and his runs were a joy to watch. Ruddy was fantastic. The second half was shocking at times, we seemed to be camped in our 6 yard box at times and it was nervy to say the least. I also thought the ref was a dick. From where I was sitting it looked as if he wasn't gonnae book Coke but was influenced by the Aberdeen players. Although I do have to say it was a stone wall booking. The sending of was an absolute disgrace. He didn't take his shirt off at all and refs need to be allowed to apply some common sense and realise that football is a passionate game. The way the game was going near the end I am happy with the point but they were there for the taking. We cause them alot of trouble with balls over the top and maybe should have killed the game of. Thus, I still don't know whether to view it as a point gained or 2 dropped. I'm confused.
  11. Murphy for me. I have been a critic of his and he absolutely rammed it down my throat today. His runs were an absolute joy in that first half. Obviously Ruddy was in there with a shout but had to go for Murphy.
  12. 3-2 Motherwell. Lukas 2 and Murphy 1 for us and Miller and Mulgrew for them. Mon the well .
  13. There I thought he was set for a 6 month stretch in Bar-L or something.
  14. Have a liquid lunch in JDs and then have 2 Chicken Balti pies at the fitba ( providing they have any left) .
  15. No. A magazine costs alot of money to produce and the simple fact is there isn't enough well fans interestedin buying one for it to be worthwile. The club did pilot one a coupole of years back and I imagine they lost money through it which is why it disappeared. I still have every copy of 91 with Uncle Phil on the cover of one of the issues.
  16. To be fair though, we played some fantastic fooball under Mutley and in a game where we played Dundee United which was 3rd against 4th we could hardly muster 5000 through the turnstyles. I don't think that really has anything to do with it. I think a regular Euro adventure is they way to attract fans. So if 4-5-1 gets us back in to Europe then I'm fine with that.
  17. Our best points total in how long and you're moaning. You can never please some people.
  18. On you're first point about the difference between £17 and £22 you are probably right. However, some people may se that £17 is a fair price and the product is worth that. However at £22 they might think the price is a rip off and wont pay it. You can call me a penny pincher but if my closest shop is selling 8 cans of Lager for £6 and I can get them for a fiver half a mile down the road I will go walk that half mile to save a measly quid. It may not be for financial reasons but foe the principle of the matter. I don't give billy hill all my money but I do give them half and the other half is spent on Motherwell . As I say though work commitments stop me from going to as many games as I'd like to go to.
  19. I was just agreeing that people might not be going to the games due to cost. I didn't say I didn't go due to cost. I have missed the last few away games due to work commitments. I missed parkhead due to a personal boycot and not wanting to give that shower of shite money. I am the very same with Rangers, you probably do not agree with that and feel it is very bitter and you would be right I am bitter towards they fuckwit scum. In the last 14 months I have spent a fortune following Motherwell to Bucharest, Llanelli, Nancy and even far out areas such as Inverurie . You just have to ask people who know me on this forum that with no work commitments the first thing I spend my money on is Motherwell Fc wherever they are playing (exc. Parkhead and Ibrox). In fact I will even miss my rent to go and follow motherwell which I done to go to Bucharest.
  20. I wonder if there were any European tournaments at the time if we could have won anything.
  21. Selective response by flow I think. I think I will go and start a rumour to get his attention.
  22. Does anyone actually know for certain why Gannon never spoke to the press? No we are speculating, so why are we criticising the manager for something we know fuck all about?
  23. See I was acting all smug typing that message and then thought they were NI. Will teach me.
